View Full Version : Suggestion: Lucas Perez

Should try and get him on loan from Arsenal after the massive barney he's had with them.

Would be great support up top for Benteke, wants game time in a World Cup year and he wouldn't have to leave London.

Apparently his old club Deportivo have offered him a TEN year deal...

Good player, my family over Chingford who follow Arsenal rave on about him. Would be the perfect signing on loan, very clinical supposedly.

Would definitely have him on loan for a season to fill the Left sided attacking position.

Reported unhappy with Arsenal for stripping his no.9 shirt number to Lacazette.

Spanish international, 28 yo, bought by Arsenal from Deportivo for 17.1 million couple seasons ago and maybe available for less than that now.

Limited opportunities given by Arsene, but good goal scoring record when on the field. Has Premier League experience and would provide good competition for Benteke and Wickham.

Decent player at 9m. Great at finding space off front man - old fashioned inside forward. Worth a punt?

I remember in the game at the Emirates where we went down with a whimper. He was awesome that day, constantly making dangerous runs in behind. He would really complete the forward three for us.

Good shout. Exactly the type of player we should be looking at, will score goals and can play the no.10 too?

PoplarEagle
26-07-2017, 12:02 PM
Would be a great signing for us - my friend who supports Arsenal cant believe he doesn't play more, especially considering the amount of runs he makes and his technical ability. I would snap him up to play with Zaha off of Benteke. Also can play as the lead Striker in the League Cup when we want to rest Benteke, would be good on a season loan would be a great perm signing. Perhaps we can offer Arsenal 30mil for both Chambers and Perez.

We should be all over this... can play up top as number 10 and wide of a front 3... only deportivo making a bid (quite low too!)

According to some geordie reporter (Newcastle interested in him) arsenal want 13.4m for perez.

Personally think that's a bargain.

However wenger said today that he was injured at moment.

No idea mate. I kinda don't believe he is injured.. and it's just wenger excuse for not playing him

As RisZero says.. 25-30m for both him and chambers would be excellent business

No idea if that's a sign or not...

Agree he'd be a very good signing. Could play in behind Benteke or out on the left if needed.

Think he'll score a lot of goals given the chance.

28, young enough for a 3 year contract

Would be promising in the top 3 with Benteke and Zaha. I might prefer Iheanacho on age alone but if he is going to Leicester then what can you do?

General consensus seems he was decent in cup games vs poorer opposition and in Europe but out of his depth in ELP matches.

At 13.5m however still does seem cheap.....

Artilcle in teh Newcastle Chronicle about their attempts to sign Perez and that the Ginners are holding our for 13.4m.

If that is the case, when you look at the move for Andre Gray it seems a great price for a player who would fit perfectly on the left of our attack.

He wants to go back to Depor and they have offered him a long term deal but cannot afford his fee.

If he sticks it out and says he only wants to go back to Depor then Arsenal may have to do a loan deal, or Perez gets stuck on the bench at Arsenal.

Irony of him going back to his previous club on loan so Arsenal get virtually nothing for him i he could have played regularly with Sanchez going which he now cannot do.

Him going means they have no cover to let Sanchez go and so have turned down 55m+5m from Man City for him and they will get nothing next summer.

Great work Arsenal! :p
