Was going to do this but being moved to a Sunday is just too much.

They have some front charging the full 30 quid for a sunday lunchtime kick off. This whole thing of tickets being a maximum of 30 for away fans should be better regulated - how can Burnley justify this price when they will clearly be charging 30 if they were at home to say Man U and it was a sat 3pm

We're charging 30 and category A prices for the Southampton lunchtime game shortly after.

Looking at trains for this right now. Seems to be the 8.10 that gets to Burnley for 12.15 changing at crewe and Preston.

Park at the Cricket club and have a pint and a pie in there... its gentler than Syria but a bit bleak in the cavernous away stand

If you've ever wanted to visit Syria, then I'd highly recommend going to Burnley away.

Rows of derelict houses with smashed in windows and angry, slightly deformed locals staring at you on every corner. Ahhhh Burnley 0-0 Palace.

The view of the Pennines is nice though.

After the 3-2 comeback win the other year I started to soften on Burnley away.

Burnley is probably the best away day we have now. A proper football club with proper fans, in a proper stadium. The Bridge Bier Huis pre-match and then a decent pie in the ground too.

This is probably the most frustrating fixture change we've had since promotion :veryangry

Trying to buy tickets for this on the ticket site but it's telling me my details do not match when they definitely do. Tried on two different browsers and my phone and the same issue. It also says there are no events found when I select 'tickets' when not logged in. Anyone else having this issue?

Possibly the site is undergoing maintenance as on two browsers I cannot access tickets sales via the drop down menu and it just states 'There are currently no events found'. You can access information on sales by scrolling down the main page but there is no link to take you to sales. The login link disappeared off the headers but is now making a comeback and my saved login details aren't being recognised as well. Hopefully just a re-org before the next Burnley allocation comes up in the morning?

The 8.02 from Ebbsfleet gets into St P at 8.21 and you could get the 8.45 from Euston but it gets into Burnley at 12.51. All of that cuts every stage of the journey fine with no slack for delays.

Cheers. Booked the 8.10 from Euston to Crewe when the game was moved to allow for any delays.
