I never miss the football season when it's gone, as I love tennis and cricket. Plus it's nice to have a break from it all! But once it's back I really look forward to it!!!

Amen. They're literally building a team for nothing. Not one star to be found in that box of spare parts.

The BBS report reads like a 6 degrees of separation from Palace...

Summer signing Lewis Grabban equalised from the penalty spot just before half-time after Jacob Butterfield handled.

Both sides could have won it, with Grabban hitting the post from 18 yards while Derby's Chris Martin fired over.

Substitute David Nugent also had a late chance to earn the Rams all three points but could not connect cleanly with a volley.

Watched some of the Sunderland v Derby game.

For those of you that missed it...it was essentially two centre backs and a goal keeper kicking the ball the entire length of the pitch to the other teams goalkeeper and centre backs. Other players were used intermittently to take throw ins.

Been watching Sutton and Leyton Orient, better than what was served up last night. 2-0 to Sutton, carrying on where they left off last season. Orient as the commentator said need to do a lot of work to start playing as a team. 1200 orient fans there today.

Great fact from last night; Sunderland haven't won a game in August for 7 years.

Having gone one down the Sunderland in-laws said the draw felt like a victory after the rubbish they have had to endure in recent years.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2017/aug/06/holland-v-denmark-euro-2017-final-live

1-1 currently, Dutch the strong favourites, but lots of news articles here about how this is 25 years after the Danish men shocked the world to win Euro 92. Still going to be a tough game.

Well that was bizarre, two players wearing suits lifting the shield and then passing it round everyone there who wasn't even playing, before eventually it ended up with the players who played still in kit who all looked very pissed off and couldn't be bothered to lift it!

Have to agree, bad decision. Was reading about her actually, pretty interesting story of how she got to to represent Denmark (http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/womens-euros-2017-european-championship-spain-vs-denmark-nadia-nadim-taliban-a7866206.html)

Overall pretty impressed with some of the quality of play from both Denmark and the Netherlands, now 3-2 to the Dutch but still pretty open.

Don't for Christs sake let Biggin, the dribbling loon see this link. I think he'd have a coronary.

This woman was trafficked, send her back, and her mum worked several jobs, nicking jobs off true Danes.

A total disgrace, coming over there, no skills, spending their life savings, the worlds gone mad. Etc.
