Sakho? I recall a fair few clean sheets for Henno once Sakoho was involved last season. Including one at Chelsea where he was very much to thank.

Not saying we don't need someone else but let's not be to downhearted. I also think a back up striker is more important as outfield players are more prone to injury.

The last bit re attacking players is fair. We have actually created a lot of chances/shots. Not all high quality, but quite often in the past we have been limited to 1 or 2 and there have been a lot more than that. Plus a couple of really good chances and we haven't taken any of them. The one at Liverpool would have had us in front, and in both of the other matches we had reasonable chances to pull goals back.

Re Benteke, there is a lot said about him not getting enough high crosses but TBH I am not sure that is even what he wants because he is rarely racing to get in the box and instead too often drops back deep. He doesn't win open play crosses that often. He can be unplayable at times and others almost doesn't play. Odd for such a talent.

Whatever I think we need to draw a line and look forward. Otherwise we risk eating ourselves from the inside. COYP

The first goal was a pretty soft touch by Abrahams, well within saving distance, WH didn't have to move that far, it was easier to save than miss. Yes Kelly got caught out for the second goal although it wasactually a 50:50 ball, but again WH was so tentative in coming out...I can't imagine Kasper Schmeichel being o tame in clearing the ball (maybe Hennessey reckoned he was playing his last game and didn't want to risk getting hurt)

The issue is when? He won't be making much of a contribution from the stands that's for sure. Blowing £26 mil on one player with a staggering weekly wages who's not even fit to play until some time in the future is amazing. He probably won't be fit and ready for weeks, assuming he doesn't have a setback, and don't forget, he's already been in the treatment room for more than 4 months for this knee injury. So, Let's hope that when he does take to the field he can remain fit and free from injury for a good while, so that he can give back some of the blind faith he's received from some of the supporters. In the meantime, Hennessey continues to do a reasonable job, week in week out, and has made some very impressive and important saves.

Let's look at our 3 matches so far. Poor marking was responsible for all three goals against us V Huddersfield. Against Liverpool, we would have been slaughtered if Hennessey hadn't made a succession of very good saves. Dann was also caught with his pants down against Swansea, as too was Kelly. Why do they not come into contention for poor, sub standard play while the blame is always put firmly onto Hennessey, our last line of defense?
