Aki Riihilahti for me is Palace DNA. He knows what a Palace team should look like. No experience as a manager but with dougie/sammy lee and a top coach like Carlos Quiroz to guide him I think could be an innovative, inspirational appointment.

He would definitely motivate the players- which they need right now.

Take a risk Parish.

Cometh the hour, cometh the Aki.

Nay nay and thrice nay! Hope this is a joke post, just because he used to play here doesnt mean he is Palace through and through. We've had far too many ex players involved here since Parrish took over Bright Salako Pardew etc etc.....NO MORE PLEASE!!

One of my favourite players of all time but I think we have taken enough risks for one season

Love these suggestions of Aki/Coppell/Popovic as above they're all amazing figures in a Palace sense but the suggestions of them taking over when we're bottom and staring another relegation battle in the face is mental.

Are you saying we managed to get the Sporting Director appointment wrong as well? :wallbash:

20 yrs from now I wonder if people will be asking for Kebe to be palace manager as he once played here?

This desparation to stick to people who have played for palace as our lord and saviours is beyond my comprehension.
