Seeing as a spell at Palace is now the "thing" after the England job, can I be the first to welcome Gareth back to Selhurst.

Thankfully England are consistent underachievers, so we'll never run out of managers.

Welcome Terry.

Nah. He's already done it twice.
Roy is grooming Ray Lewington for a second crack at the job.

You'll probably be able to bump this thread in 5-10 years time.

You think he will last that long with England?

I think Southgate will take over from Coleman as manager, here.

Hodgson is too old. We should have gone for a younger ex engerland manager.

Bring on Sven-Göran Eriksson.

Still remember the fanzine cover after Euro 1996, a picture of Southgate with the caption 'I'm off' referencing his despicable exit from the Palace and another picture of him head in hands after the penalty miss with the caption 'I'm off target'
