Yeah what's happened to Bournemouth up top? Always looked threatening last couple of seasons.

We might get lucky this season cos having seen Huddersfield, Burnley and Swansea...there's a few others clubs too that look like strugglers.

Still can't believe we lost the 3 games that we did. Got no sympathy for de Boer - that was a criminal start.

Brighton are solid in the Pulis fashion. Everyone behind the ball, compact in and around the box, can see them picking enough 1-0 wins at home and draws on the road to stay up.

Bournemouth, Pugh in particular, are dreadful.

Two crap teams.

On paper we should be miles ahead of both.

Bournemouth over play it. Possesion for the sake of it, with far to many passes. For all their possession how many shots have they had on target? One I think.

Think Defoe has weakened them as a team. It looks like they're accomodating him.

They're *****, but they're big and mark tightly and gets lots of blocks in. Bournemouth (Cook/Elphick) and WBA (McAuley/Evans) have done fine with that style of defender in the past couple of seasons.

If we were to be optimistic about things I would say we have lost three games from which 5 pts should have been accrued. Liverpool expected loss. So wwould hope to be in 8pts after 8 games based on fixtures. So let's see where we are by 15th October. A little bit of me says 10 pts The rest says 0 pts or 1

Yep. Swansea look s****. Plenty of others could get sucked in too.

Burnley performance and Hodgson coming in have given me the confidence that we're on par with a lot of teams when we have our full strength squad playing. I suspect we'll know by mid-November whether we're destined for the drop or have got a fighting chance of survival.

Strange for the manager to change the line up. Spurs play Barnsley midweek. Why rotate now?

Son at left wing back last season was a failed experiment. Trippier at left wing back. Davies stays on the bench. Okay then.

Mike Dean made some massive errors today as well.

Oh, and I think Alli has been crap this season so far. Far too busy promoting his brand and being petulant or showing off (and not pulling it off) than focusing on his game.

Sissoko still looks like a Jack Russell chasing a balloon.

No one I know laughed it off. Most hated the idea of playing at Wembley. And this is going back to when it was announced what was happening. This is very much seen as a season to endure before returning to a new home stadium and many preferred MK Dons which was also touted as a possibility. I heard Kompany broke a nail whilst putting up some shelves this morning.

It's looking better all of a sudden.

I do not think he will be suspended when you take into the Carabao cup plus 2 PL games before they play us

Can't be right. United appeal for a pen not given?

United outplayed most of game and still win. But note how quickly their midfield supported lukaku.

Everton are toothless and shit. Maybe the surprise team to struggle and go down with us.

Nice of Lukaku to put a dampener on his celebration there against his former club....he doesn't seem suited to the w@nkers at all...

Probably due to the stick his former clubs fans have been giving him today. Didn't realise he left them on bad terms.

Talk about flattering scorelines! Everton seem to have ballsed up. Not replaced lukaku. Got lots of midfielders. Maybe our board aren't the worst. At least we have one striker

He'd been saying for about 18 months he wanted to leave them. The guy is a wanker, suited to the red shite. Of course he was getting booed, it happens a lot, and most of the time it's pantomime booing. What he did was quite disrespectuful, cupped his ear after the second went in also. Bellend

We will have no chance against these scum, every time they were touched they dived to the ground and too many of them given by the Ref.

So he made no secret of the fact he wanted to improve himself as a player at a bigger club. While he was at Everton he still scored 25 goals in 37 league games last year and 68 goals 141 games in total. Not exactly doing a Costa or van Dijk.

Had a dig about us sacking de boer saying it was crazy and thatgheeverton board aren't as trigger happy as that..well he might find out if he keeps this up :S:

I know a lot of saints fans who thought he was more concerned about him than the club when he was there, up his own arse was the phrase used

Everton is one team that has never been relegated....I don't think they will get relegated this season either...but would be good if they do

Think it's only a one game ban as he got a yellow for the attempted overhead kick that connected with someone, so surely the sending off was his second yellow even though just a red was shown?
