...would give us 38 points and a decent chance of survival. That's very achievable IMO. Just amazing to think we could lose 24 games in total out of 38 and still survive!

With our best X1 on the pitch (and that means no Ward or Puncheon), we could easily go on a run. I for one am not giving up yet.

Well chalk the next three down as defeats at a minimum.

Roy, with his 36% win rate in the Prem - means 11/12 wins.

IF the players remember where the goal is.....

Swap the 12 and the 2 round. Might be closer....

It's not guaranteed we lose our next 3...though I agree it's likely.

I was feeling suicidal anyway so just for the hell of it I've just looked up our cumulative home league record since the start of the 2014/15 season.

Played 60
Won 18
Drawn 8
Lost 34
Points 62
Win ratio 30 per cent
Avg points per game 1.03

I feel a bit better now

The biggest problem I see is roy, he couldn't organise a fire in a match factory.

How he's meant to inspire our mercenary players?

It's not over. We still have time. But they need to get points on the board soon. Chelsea at home is winnable! Honestly. The players are good enough. Need Wilf to stay fit.

He needs to GET fit first. When is he even back?

12 wins and a few draws is definitely achievable considering we done it last year with absolute woeful patches in form.

We still got at home and away
Brighton
Newcastle
West Brom
West Ham
Watford
Bournemouth
Stoke
And then we got Huddersfield and Swansea away too. That's not forgetting the odd few points here and there against the bigger sides.

It's very glum now I admit and the worst is probably yet to come with the next few games but once we get Sakho and Zaha in the squad and a good January window it still isn't as far fetched as some seem to think.

S'not gunna happen.
Feared we'd be this seasons sunderland before the end of last season...
And then some.
This season has shades of '97 written all over it!

This relegation will be of Steve Parish's making. The lack of planning for the umpteenth window will finally nail our coffin

Win 12 games??

Not a chance. I've seen shambolic Palace season's before and this is one of those.

We will be adrift by January.

Any player wanting to go to the World Cup will demand a transfer.

Neither am I, but things need to change very quickly.

Win today was handed to Soton on a silver platter. Gave them far too much time on the ball in the first half. Sitting back at home is just so, so wrong.

Need to play like the first 15mins of the 2nd half for the full 90 mins in all our remaining home games.

Best starting XI? It's over to you........

Lol. If we are lucky, we will be in touching distance of that milestone by Xmas 2018.

It's definitely not over and we have a decent fighting chance. The next 3 will be humiliating and we'll be completely written off but we are always great when the big underdog.

We will be adrift in October!

We've had more managers this season than scored goals, And that fact stick even if we hadn't of sacked FdB!

Any person on here that thinks we are going to win 12 games needs to go drink STRONG coffee, slap yourself round the face and wake the f up.

We are down this season 110% Roy will not be inspiring anyone in that dressing room, the players won't even notice he's there most of the time. If you take out the foreign clubs Roy managed his managerial win ratio is shocking. The Eng manager win stat ratio doesn't even count IMO. How many top 10 world nation teams did England play under Hodgson? And how many of those did we win? The rest of the fixtures were joke games.

Er...he has close to a 35% win ratio in the Premier League. Over 33 games that is 11/12 wins.
