It's difficult to do a pitch invasion from the away end there, unless you can smuggle in a hang-glider or rig up a zip wire.

Depends on the score in the game at the time. If we are being thrashed then probably not!

In the famous 9-0 Liverpool drubbing, we were 6 down at the time and won a penalty. Apparently Coppell turned to our coach Stan Ternant and said 'if we score we'll run on the pitch in celebration'.

Thomas missed it!

There HAS to be a pitch invasion. An ironic & hilariously over the top celebration to show just how pissed off we are at how poorly the club has been run the past few months. We've had a shocking 18-20 months as supporters watching defeat after defeat, crap football and now this embarrassing run losing 6 from 6 without scoring. I mean the more I think about it the more incredible those statistics are.

Parish, De Boer, The players- I don't care who you blame for our current plight. Fact is we've all had a torrid time, so when we score we should go absolutely ******* mental, get on the pitch if you can, celebrate for a good 30 minutes. Let's just take the absolute piss out of ourselves. About time we've had some fun at a game.

most creative ideas for filling our vacant striker position...

I suggest:
- CYL mounted on Sako's shoulders, so Lee can whisper inventive ideas into Sako's ear, like his cool back pass at Burnley.
- no striker, but instead play three left backs, it'll confuse people "WTF?!? these guys have three left backs all on the pitch at the same time".
- play Benteke anyway, he may actually move around more to avoid something or someone hitting his injured knee.
- book continuous, round the clock friendly matches against Bromley so Freddie Ladapo can gain a seasons worth of Conference level football experience, but condensed into a two week period. He can then play in the Premiere League, struggle and we will then realise that having one striker for a Premier League club with five years in the division is a shambolic and irresponsible state of affairs which will relegate us.

thinking about it, Chris Grierson knows the team very well, he's close with the squad, got a good relationship with the first team. He's young, knows where everything is at the training ground and he's a proper Palace boy. Also could interview himself in front of the South London & Proud backdrop.

This season he's been on the pitch at half time, so he knows what it's likely to play in front of the Selhurst crowd.

Worth adding to list of options I think.

That was the only disappointing part from yesterday. I did expect a pitch invasion of sorts at our first goal. :). Watching it back, the noise is ridiculous when we scored. You can hear all that pent up emotion of weeks of ridicule and frustration exploding.

If I were chairman, I’d hang this photo in my office to remind me that fans like her are important. It’s easy to lose sight of that when the corporates come knocking (whilst we’re in the Prem anyway).

On my few visits to the Main Stand in recent years I've seen assisted to her seat near the front by a steward just before kick off. She's usually plotted up in the corner by the Whitehorse stand. She has a proper South London accent as I've spoken to her a couple of times & seems like a lovely lady.

When did I say it was preventing me from doing something with my time? It embedded in this thread so I watched the first 2 mins before realising what tripe it was.

And the fact that 37k ‘people’ watch it doesn’t make filming yourself reacting to an event self important?

It’s more a wider societal problem we have nowadays to be honest, hence selfie sticks and guff like that type of video.
