...is not actually Palace. It's Man U.

In the 1930/31 season they lost their first 12 games. In the top division.

I know this doesn't help our situation, but it's made me feel a bit better.

Yes and they were relegated to the 2nd Division with just 7 wins all season.

Airbrushed out of history because:

a) It's the wankers, the world's favourite club
b) Football and records only began in 1992.

Perhaps our record this season to date can be airbrushed out,:sob: and we can start again.

We hold the EPL record and most people will discount the 1930's as irrelevant - but full marks for data mining and making yourself feel better

The reason our start is considered the worst after six games is because we are goalless as well as pointless.

Who gives a **** about what "most people" think if they think that football begins and ends with the Premier League?

Fear not. Fatty Sako will be doing his Tommy Black impression for the next few games and will suddenly come good again (after 2 years)

True, also Southampton lost their first 5 and stayed up, Portsmouth lost their first 6 in the PL before. we're bad but not alone

Our 1st season back up saw us lose 9 out of our first 11, drawing 1 and winning 1

From memory, weren't there more "easier" games in that run than this time round?

So the record is 12 and we're currently at 6.

Must be why we re-appointed Dougie 'I'm not the sort of guy to leave jobs half done' Freedman
