Anyone know when the away tickets will first go on sale through the CPFC website. Need to remember to set my alarm clock for that morning (I don't tend to get up till midday normally, mornings are boring).

Anyone else giving this a miss? I find Wembley a fairly depressing place as a football ground, so my highlight comes from drinking in London beforehand. With this kick-off time... I think I'll enjoy it even less if I'm sober.

Yes, precisely for the reasons you've listed, along with the fact it's not a final.

I'll have done City (a), United (a) and Newcastle (a) by the time the Spurs game comes around so considering it's a 12pm Sunday kick-off on Sky I think I can be allowed a pass on this one

Just wondering why it's necessary to sell the first tranche (afrer away ST holders) to those with 4000 loyalty points.

Thanks. So 3000 is the maximum number of away seats a club needs to provide, regardless of the size of the ground?

Thanks. So 3000 is the maximum number of away seats a club needs to provide, regardless of the size of the ground?

Itís 3,000 minimum, or 10% if the ground holds less than 30,000.

Personally I think it should be 10% in the larger grounds too, unless the away club give advance warning that they canít sell that many and only require the standard 3,000.

Thatís true, god knows who makes the decision on how many tickets we receive as away visitors, but we very rarely get it right, always defaulting to reduced allocations and masquerading it as a triumph when it sells out even when thereís additional demand for tickets.

First away game this season for me shamefully. The current form is a real life dampener.. I normally spend much of my week looking forward to the next palace fixture. This is proving to be a real gut check from a supporting point of view. As you go through life and you end up with so many more demands on your time something that just puts you in a bad mood a lot of the time really is hard to justify.

I didn't even check what seat i was being allocated when i bought these tickets!!!!!! Sad times ;-)

We drank in London all day and only got to Wembley for the game before ours (Palace was the last game of the day). A drab 0-0 draw (think it was only 10 minutes each way) and sudden death penalties from the start. They scored, Phil Barber missed and we were knocked out! Bit of an anti-climax!

I've booked a space in Wembley Central shopping centre car park. Booked as soon as it was confirmed as being played on the Sunday for £8. If they have noticed there's a stadium event on, then they could well have stuck the price up to £20 (or more)

Traffic after the game is fine, as they send you out via weird service route around the back of the shops, and out via a goods entrance into Union Road, and you are in the right direction for Hangar Lane and the A40

EDIT - They've still got it set as normal (non stadium event day rates), so £8 or less depending how long you want to pre-book for

http://wembley-central.co.uk/parking.htm and click on pay by parkjockey

If you turn up here and pay on the day, it will almost certainly be £20+ though

Alternatively there is parkonmydrive.com and yourparkingspace.com - basically parking on people's concreted front gardens, of which there are numerous in the Wembley area!

Gazza2
22-10-2017, 04:18 AM
They get slightly smaller crowds for some higher profile oppo fixtures where deal made about playing there means police can order them to restrict home ticket sales to seson ticket holders & members rather than allowing them to go on general sale.

Anyone else in club wembley for this?

Yes spud supporting, bruv in law has two season tickets for use via his work and persuaded me to repay the favour of him joining me at our last league cup game against Charlton. He had to witness away fans that night racially abuse and harass ladies on the train, punch an eagle, attempt to burn down the Arthur and countless other incidents of scumbagery. Hopefully I'll be able to sit on my hands for 90 mins if not seated near our fans.

Thanks Dorking - very helpful. All booked up for £6.

I'm hoping club wembley will be quite neutral.

Still no tickets - just tried ringing the box office but it's telling me the call cannot be completed. Any suggestions?

You could have always gone down to the box office, paid for them and walked out with the tickets in your hand.

Oh hang on, you couldn't have done that as we have got the only ticket office in the world that refuses to give you the tickets.

With all our issues at the club at the moment this gem is my personal favourite.

Agree itís ******* embarrassing :wallbash:

I now have to go and collect them from the ticket office as they refuse to post them so close to the game. Bought on Wednesday so they could post Brighton and Spurs tickets together - good idea I thought...

That is extraordinary!

Assuming the tickets are in the building itís more work, cost and risk for them (loss etc) to process face to face and then post them out. Who signed off on that?

They keep them in the room next door and won't give them to you in person.

Amazed people don't make more of a fuss about this. It defies belief really.

Who signed that off? Probably our 'widely respected' CEO. Everything seems to have gone downhill since Browett stopped becoming involved in this sort of thing.

Room next door! You have to laugh, what could possibly want to stop them making the long and risky walk for the tickets? It’s like something out of ‘The Apprentice’!

I’ve been using the online system for aways mostly so didn’t know, last time I went personally they handed them over (West Brom away a few years back).

Have to agree. Steve was always on the ball with ticket problems.

I have had a mare. Thought the match was 12.30 not midday and now have to rely an easyjet flight to Luton being on time (lands at 10.05) and no roadworks or engineering works to get across for 12. If I get there for any of the first half I'll be amazed.

Shouldn't be ticket problems in the first place.

Bugger learnt the club Wembley block I'm in is behind the goal... At the other end of the stadium from our loyal away support. Looking forward to hearing you all drown out the home support.

Should be ok for kick off if you get out of the airport quickly. Get the shuttle (or cab if it's tight) to Luton Airport Parkway station. 10.48 train to West Hampstead Thameslink (arrives 11.16) then Jubilee Line from West Hampstead to Wembley Park.

Hi just went to print tickets for tomorrow and noted that receipt says ‘Paper Ticket
*Collect from Ticket Office’

Assume this means Wembley ticket office?

(Purchased on Wednesday evening)

(Purchased on Wednesday evening)Can't really be sure whether it meant CPFC or Wembley ticket office. Suggest you print out the receipt and take it to the Wembley ticket office along with ID and if they don't have your original tickets ready for collection ask them to issue duplicates.

Stuck on a train at Bletchley. Overrunning engineering works from those London Midland jokers. Look likely to miss at least some of the game now. Think alot of trains on the line in to Euston are affected so probably other Palace (and Spurs) fans affected.
