Seen a fair bit of this guy so far this season. One of those who hasn't seemed to do too much previously but seems to have come out flying this year. Got pace, skill, decent finish, seems to be roaming the box for loose balls to finish and for 5'11" is pretty useful in the air and not afraid to stick his head in.

I did mention him as one SP should be enquiring about his release clause along with Antonio Adán as I can't see it being that high right now unless they offer him a new contract soon which I could see happening if he keeps up his excellent form.

Also we have never had a Paraguayan that I know of?

As much i would love for this to happen as this kid has got something, he will not come to a team who come january will have if we are lucky 15 points! we need to be looking for gems in say the swedish league or sebian leagues etc because i really cant see us attracting any decent names in our situation sadly :(

The thing is we always see these types of players signed by other clubs around the bottom of the Premier League and we seem intent on being linked with people like Jordan Mutch. :moo:

We said 15 years ago the scouting at Palace is awful. I don't see how after 4 seasons in the Premier League we have failed to address upgrading and expanding our scouting network. We would have never even looked at Luka Milivojevic if Allardyce hadn't recommended him.

I think the reasoning behind that is we always back an English ( British) manager, who brings in english coaches who do not have a clue about foreign leagues. Who knows with roys knowledge he may have something up his sleeve. But with DF as sporting director, this could be a stumbling block. i mean the first thing he did was try and get oliver burke over the line, and even that couldnt happen. The kiddy at rangers who signed for nothing is a prime example, bagged himself something like 6 goals, and being linked to the prem already for over 10 mil, thats the kind of thing we need
