Looking at her bronze medal time for the 1984 Olympics, it's hard to believe but that same run would have have gained the following medals at all the subsequent Olympics:

1988 S
1992 B
1996 /
2000 S
2004 S
2008 G
2012 G
2016 G

Wow!

the farce of drug cheating especially at the 2012 Olympics has seen 8 runners from the woman's 800n race disqualified almost as many in the 1500m they are calling the 800m the most bent race in history, what about every single Olympic games and WC from 1972 onwards? what about Flo Jo's 1988 performances in Seoul 1988? scandalous.

Taken at face value, our own KC is one of the greatest runners ever.

Back in the day, and I watched the 84 Olympics in the middle of the night, I wasn't thinking we are watching one of the greats, but her time in smog bound L.A. on that track would have won all medals after..... it is hard to believe.

she was without a doubt competing in an era that made it so difficult to be on a level playing field

Who’s to say she wasn’t competing on the same playing field?

Hard to understand times going backwards over Such a long period.
