Big game tonight! Kick off 7:45.

Backing Ireland due to having Irish in the family but I know there are a lot of Wales supporters here. Hoping for a cracker.

Oh, didn't know that.

Wales just need a draw, so they'll likely get by, but come on you boys in green!

Wales only go through with a draw if Croatia don't win either. Both teams really need to win to go through. For Ireland a win might not be enough.

I reckon if Wales lose, Hennessey will fall into even more of a funk and it will be worse for our season. For that reason, I want Wales to go through.

Croatia are playing Ukraine who are equal on points with each other. So either a Croatia win or loss means Wales need a win. I think.

Yeah, I just realized they're playing at Cardiff, capacity 33k.

If this was their choice, it shows a distinct lack of ambition from one of the best four teams in Europe. Maybe they were worried that their fans weren't passionate enough.

That was a proper crazy outburst, wasn't it? The best bit was this - 'Genetically we are behind. In the last campaign we were the second smallest squad behind Spain.'

That's the same Spain who won the Euros in 2008 & 2012 and the World Cup in 2010.

Wales started off very positively.

Ireland couldn't et out of their penalty area.

After half-an-hour, Wales started losing the ball, and Ireland started to stand up.

Ireland's tactics were disgusting.

The referee's performance was very poor. How Allen got booked and then the Irish were let off for so much for so long.

In the end, the Irish did a job, but it was a Welsh error that cost them. That's the one worse thing then scraping through as England have, and look how much negativity there is with England.

Ramsey tried but needed to be much further forward once Allen went off. He was sitting back way too much. Poor performance by the Welsh in the end, but granted they lacked an end product much as Palace did before we got Benteke.

Scraped in the sense of scorelines, and 1-0 wins but poor performances. That is what I meant by scraping through.

For what it's worth, England got one of the highest points tallies in their group, and Slovakia have missed out as they are the ninth best second-placed team. That shows how far behind England everyone else was/
