I’d rather Parish put the £25k towards a new striker tbh.

Yeah but what if our striker doesn't get injured? We have other options to play up there. We didn't leave it til the last minute, we just failed to sign any etc. etc.

Or at least towards 30% of one week of his wages.

I don’t expect a refund. Roy’s comments on the club website were enough, an acknowledgement of an unacceptable performance, a recognition that our backup players are a sack of shit and an apology for the manner of the result. Move on.

Anyone going to Ashton Gate and expecting a result should pay double for their naivety.

EDIT - just looked it up. The last time we won there was in March 1980, no less than 13 trips ago. It's like the cosmic balancing ground for Vicarage Road.

It won't happen, but I agree with this. So many of that starting XI last night were supposedly in Hodgson's ear pressing their claims to get a game, then when we went 2-1 down, they literally could not be arsed. Admittedly after half time, Bristol City went up a gear, nevertheless our players could not be arsed.

Alternatively they could give some money to charity, I think that is what Mullery (spit) made the Palace players do when we lost to Peterborough back in the day.

If he starts giving out refunds everytime we play shit and get stuffed the club will be skint in no time. I would want my Season Ticket refunded too.
We dont follow Palace for glory, Take the bad times on the chin it makes it all the better when we win. We beat Chelsea every season but this seasons meant so much more than before.

I’m very fkn far from satisfied. I just don’t think asking for a refund is what being a football fan is about. What I want to see is a reaction from the club to a shocking night rather than platitudes, which came from the manager. It will hopefully have been seen by the board who must now realise that we need better strength in depth as the eleven who played last night are nowhere near PL standard.

Rather they refund it to charity, and then the charity can show the value of spending money wisely, not making poor last minute decisions and giving the money to people who deserve it, 3 vital lessons that our club needs to learn.

Shouldn't be about asking for a refund, club/ players should want to give one after that shower of shit.

Plenty of clubs have done it when their players couldn't be arsed.

Will never happen for a home game where most fans pay for a season ticket.

Millwall we sacked the manager, hardly likely to get a refund after that and we took about the same amount of fans to The Den as we did last night which in itself is poor.

If we refunded for every game where we've ever let in a late opposition winner, the club would go bankrupt.

After allowing for kids oap disabled prices ticket refund would prob be around 20 000 maybe what they pay mutch every 4 days so wouldn't realy hurt club but maybe players could donate 5 % of there weeks wages to a worthwhile charity not much to them but the charity would be pleased .

Asmuch as I disagree with handing out refunds (where does it end? A nil nil versus a lower placed team?) Van Aanholt's wages docked for a week would probaby cover it, pretty sickening how insignificant tickets sales are compared to players wages...

I would be up for fining him ... and then finding him a new club in January.

Pathetic. What is this modern-day obsession with "we want our money back"? Just grow up.

In my time, I have trawled around the country enough over the years and seen more than my fair share of disappointing/piss-poor performances and results.

If Roy sees fit to fine players for an unacceptable performance, we can then donate the proceeds to deserving charities in time for Christmas..
