I've just seen a picture of players during Bristol game, not able to copy and paste, but it's very difficult to make the players out compared to the dark background. Was it not for this reason last time we had a black kit we got a 3rd kit in yellow?

I can only assume we've played every game this season, bar Chelsea, in this kit?

Didn't FDB say he wasn't keen on dark kits when he arrived as it's harder for players to pick each other out on the background of the crowd?

Are we blaming the kit ?

There's a difference between blaming the kit and pointing out that a black kit may give you a slight disadvantage. Players and managers from various teams have mentioned this as a problem in the past. Not that it's the biggest of our problems, but we need every little bit of help we can get and, given that we have perfectly good options with yellow or white away kits, I think it was stupid to go with black.

Even if the player's recognition is delayed one nano-second, that is a disadvantage any team doesnt need.

Is it just me, because I can't see where we're going to wear the third kit (bournemouth away aside)?

I just don't understand why any team would want to play in a black kit. Black is for referees & officials who don't need high profile visibility during the game. It seems that high fashion has overtaken common sense in football as well.

It's often been speculated that New Zealand would be the best footballing country in the world were it not for the colour of their kit.

The players are vindicated. Nothing to do with them, it's the kit

Are we blaming the kit ?

It's Thursday. Well since our last defeat we've already crucified the players, Parish, Byfield, Dougie, the manager, previous managers, previous owners, lack of ground redevelopment.... so we need to be inventive come Thursday.

Friday is obviously reserved for the press conference and blaming the manager and lazy injured players, then we're back to Saturday again.

Fun isn't it...

I wonder if Brizzle have got a dimmer switch on their floodlights? After we went 1-0 up they turned down the brightness to make our players harder to pick out and to give them a sneaky advantage .
Dirty, cheating, inbred scum!!

Are we blaming the kit ?

Whilst not blaming the Kit, I believe it does not help as the season progresses as the background that the players see are dark winter coats. Looks OK on TV against a background of green.

The Bristol red shirts stand out compared to our black shirts.

Palace fans now using the Manchester United method of excuse. They lost 6-3 to Southampton due to kit choice.

It's nothing to do with the kit, the fact is we are shit.

The fact is we are talented in some areas, but mentally weak and easily discouraged. I strongly believe that just one or two decent results could turn this season round. But it all comes down to goals and there are very few in this side.
