Not yet unbelievably. Ho hum as far as I am concerned, much better places to go but handy for the ground.

Better off drinking in Brum then jumping on the tram.

Without doubt, one of the biggest dumps Iíve been to. Single file queuing back through the pub in tight corridors.

Stay in Birmingham!

Awful place. All the atmosphere of a Beefeater or Harvester.

Any place that lets a single file queue form for bar service should be shut wie.

Off topic, the punters in The Capitol in Forest Hill have adopted this tactic. It is very bizarre & a system I ignore so got served really quickly.

I never understand why people want to 1) go to a rammed pub when there are hundreds to choose from in Birmingham and 2) have a curry at 12pm.

Curry at 12 is only acceptable if it's the previous nights one which has been warmed up.:D

Good after the game too. If you get the Chiltern train from Snow Hill rather than Moor St you usually get a seat without having to wait for the train to empty a few stops down the line. Surprised that pub doesn't get busier given the fact it's a good pub and has historical significance.

Royal Oak always seems friendly enough with a good mix of home and away supporters.

Good. By the sound of it if all the discerning fans like you avoid the Vine then it will be more spacious for those like me who want the tandoori and beer. I'll ask them to open a branch near Norwood Junction.

I'll be with you mate! It does get busy in there, but it's always really quick to get a beer and the only single file queue is for the kebabs at the back. Always enjoy the curry and the Batham's goes down well too.

How can you single file for drinks at the Vine? It's impossible as the bar runs the length of the corridor where you walk into the pub. For it's beer, curry and location it's not worth dismissing. Although drinking at the many pubs mentioned above in Birmingham and making the easy journey to the Hawthorns makes sense.
