I remember we were linked with him 2 or 3 years ago. Can't remember why nothing happened though.

SC Admitted being interested in him a couple of seasons ago but the price put him off together with the fact it was at the time when Goldberk was taking over from RN. SC said he did not know which one to go and see for the money !!
Has been out for most of last season after a wicked tackle from Muscat ! he returned for the last few matches for Norwich & scored. A great player in my opinion but out of our price range.

Bellamy is a very good player who was injured for most of last season.

Noades tried to buy him for Palace when we were promoted last time round to the premier league - if nothing else - Ron can occasionally spot a decent player as he's proved with one or two of the Brentford signings (eh Edmundo !).

Noades offered a million at the time - which was a good price for a player who was only (I think) in his first season at the time, but Norwich wouldn't budge and wanted more.

What's bought on the sudden interest then Dave ???

He's got a reputation for being a bit of a troublemaker, and someone who takes their practical jokes a bit far. I remember a story saying that on a long away coach journey, the rest of the team locked him in the loo for hours cos he was just annoying them all.

On the field - class act. Don't think they'd let hime go for less than 3 million now though. Not worth that money is he ?
