He failed his trial for Brighton
He and Andy Gray came out for one game wearing each other's shorts - they swapped them on the pitch.

Bumping into him as he came out of the video store at Caterham Roundabout just after we got promotion in 89. He held the door open for me as I walked in.
Had a short chat and it may be hard to believe but he seemed to be very shy.
