I just finished reading "The Glory Game", a book about Spurs in 1972. Very interesting. Mullery was the captain then and it covered the time he was worried about being thrown out of the team due to injury and how he had to slum it on loan at Fulham. He is famous in the international arena for being the first England player to be sent off. Not surprisingly any mention of him managing Palace is completely absent from the "what they did later section" http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

Shouldn't this be in "other football" or "general chit-chat"?

And yes, who cares?
