I know this has been done before but it has been awhile so please list the other teams, out side of those in the UK, you support. For me I have loyalties towards, and in descending order of importance

1. Hadjuk Split ( Croatia )
2. Butmir ( Bosnia )
3. VfB Lübeck ( Germany )
4. FC Twente ( Holland ) ( I think thats the spelling )
5. Benfica ( Portugal )

Germany = Hansa Rostock
Scotland = Hamilton Accies
Spain = Valencia
Italy = Lazio
France = Who cares?

USA - DC United and Norwich ladies

SPAIN- Tenerife (or Zaragoza if Milosevic leaves)
HOLLAND- Willem II
USA- DC United
PORTUGAL- Sporting

I was surprised to see you support FC Twente (your spelling was correct) in Holland, Mat. FC Twente Enschede are my local club, I have supported them all my life. I was wondering how come you started supporting FC Twente.

Oh yeah, my 'foreign' teams are:
Crystal Palace - England (cos I'm in Holland)
FC Barcelona - Spain
Juventus - Italy
FC St. Pauli - Germany

The Falcons have just pulled a fast one on me by changing their name to 'Eastern Pride' (as of last Thursday) - sounds more like a real ale than a football club...

Only one team,

NAC Breda, Holland,

Have a look at one of their fans sites, www.derat.nl (http://www.derat.nl) some simmilarities to Palace.

And of note they have a supporters council that has a member on the board of directors.

I am thinking of popping over there to catch a match in the near future and after staying in Breda during Euro 2000 I can strongly reccomend it a good little town with great bars and good attitude.

Anyone interested?

I only really follow Lazio and sometimes look at the Aberdeen socres.

By the way, watched them play last night, looked good. Lombardo played well for the whole 90 mins. 0-0 draw, but the game before that they won 15-1 !!!!

Australia: Wollongong Wolves,
also Corrimal Rangers, my juniour club and now only a local amateur club, but in the first half of last century the top club in the country.

Italy: Lazio, an old work mate's club.

I can't really class my affection for certain foreign teams as support. I tend to look out for teams that play in red & blue or teams I've seen Palace play against, so:

Belgium: Anderlecht/ RC Nivellois
Spain: Sporting Gijon/ Barca
Italy: Fiorentina/ Sampdoria/ Lazio (whilst God is still there)
Holland: Go Ahead Eagles
Germany: Wuppertal
Scotland: was Meadowbank, now Rangers (one extreme to the other)
Sweden: IFK Gotheburg
Turkey: Kocaelispor
Zimbabwe: W@nkie Colliery
Australia: Brisbane Strikers (although they were about to get kicked out of Brisbane when I was there - is there a decent aussie soccer website? Vic, Tom, anyone?
