Hawks do it for Skid Row

Just finished watching the Hawks make the finals with a gritty win over the Dogs - and thought I'd get in before Skid Row starts gloating.

Likewise I'll get here before Skid starts...admittedly a good win for the Hawks, with Chick the best on ground...just had a feeling it might happen so changed my tips to back them in the middle of the week (after the results of the tribunal)...

I still don't agree that this spells the end of the Dogs in the playoffs though. They didn't seem totally up for it on Friday night, and didn't get much playing time out of Grant. I'm sure they'll be a bit more motivated when every game counts (although they proved me wrong last year).

Don't know how much longer Luke Darcy's out for...if he could be back for the playoffs I still reckon they've got a good shot at going all the way.

No bragging from me philaire or Vic Eagle. Friday nights result was a formality. If everything goes to plan today we'll be playing Geelong on friday night back at Colonial. We will definetly win that and probably play North the following week. GO HAWKS!!!

BTW good luck to the Hawks against Geelong, Skid...our receptionist at work is a mad Cats fan, and we have great fun winding her up when they lose...

Although from your last post it doesn't seem the Hawks need to be wished good luck...
