And there he was in Monday's Mirror bleating on about how he's scored a big fat zero but he was about to really impose himself on the division - ha ha ha!!
If I was Celtic i'd be delighted.

The price quoted is 7 million pounds.A lot of money for a player who spends a lot of time injured and when not injured always looks at least 2 stone overweight.

If this is true I'll be able to have a lot of fun at my future Father-in-law's expense.
Hardly the world class striker they're looking for. I bet Martin O'Neill won't sleep tonight... not!

BIG LETTER!

Hartson is a quality player, who, despite constantly being overweight, will score a lot of goals for Rangers in the SPL. The only thing I would say is that if they really wanted to succeed in Europe their £7m would have been better spent on Cort. Still, it is nice to see that, despite several large incoming transfer fees, Wimbledon still don't have any money to spend on players!

7 million, wasn't that the price they were quoted for that quality Belgium Striker, Emile Mpenza. They could have had him, he scored 4 in 2 games for Schalke 04 in germany, and trust me, he really is very good. Why John Hartson, He really is a fat turd who can't score!

Why don't we have a negotiator like wimpledon have? They've managed to get unbelievable money for their players. All this about Noades driving a hard bargain is nonsense compared to them. All I hope is that their owners are simply trying to recoup the fortune that they've lost before they cut loose and leave the squatters to plummet back to where they belong.

Hartson is awful, I can't believe someone else will make the same mistake as Wimbledon and spent £7 million on Hartson
If I was Celtic i'd be delighted
Indeed http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif
Seriously though this looks like asset stripping in preparation for a sale IMVHO. But how much would you get for the DONS? No ground, low attendances, lower half of the first division.. oh dear.
The norwegians are probably trying to recoup some of the money they lashed in the dons direction before moving on.
Let's just hope that Ron doesn't buy them and kick us out of Selhurst park
Just a thought http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif
Oh and we haven't had merger talk for a while so ...

I think this can only help Wimbledon as Hartson is useless.

Its a bit worrying to see Wimbledon selling all their donkeys for ridiculous amounts of money. How much revenue have they collected from sales now? Enough to build a half decent team. I am a little worried.

Whilst I think he is a most overrated player, I am glad we shall not have to face him. He is the type of player who always causes our defence problems, whether on or off the ball! How any club could consider him worth £6-7m bemuses me.

I can't believe that Rangers have signed Hartson, maybe it's a case of "Celtic have signed a useless donkey from the Premiership and he turned out to be a star up here so we want one too"

Apparently Hartson has failed his medical.
There are lots of very relieved Rangers fans in the office at present!
