Surely it has to be time to start building for the future. This would be my team:

GK) Martyn

SW) Ferdinand
CB) Campbell (C)
CB) Keown

RM) McManaman
LM) Barry/Barmby
CM) Scholes
CM) Gerrard
CM) Beckham

CF) Phillips
CF) Owen

Subs: Seaman
James (how was David James picked ahead of Richard Wright when James is crap and old)
Nevilles
Ince (time he was dropped for Bowyer/Lampard)
Dyer
Adams (time he was dropped for Woodgate/Carragher/Brown not made captain)
Wise
Cole
Heskey
Anderton
Barmby/Barry
Southgate

England have got to change from 4-4-2 as we need to be creative and encourage more of a pass and move mentality. 4-4-2 also means we have to find two left sided players as apposed to one. My team brings Beckham into the centre to play as a playmaker. He may be the best crosser in the world but we’ll never get anywhere at international level by simply hitting cross after cross into the box. Especially now Shearer’s gone and we don’t have the best team for winning headers it’s time to start passing it around the other teams. We have the talent we just need to use it.

Bathchairs will be placed close to the Englands bench.

I see that Mr "K" has made those changes he promised? When are we going to see some of the younger players, instead of these old farts? I will bet that this will be the foundation of our team for the World Cup games, so another early exit!

Looks as if they may have proved me wrong?
1-1 was it a good game?
