Heard rumours concerning a certain Celtic striker - but can't say more than that.

Who really gives a toss about a match between two of the most bigotted and ignorant teams and sets of fans in the entire world ?

Skirt wearing savages the lot of them.

I don't know how much of that is opinion, and how much is a jokey dig at Dave "they haven't gone away you know/just a thought" Campbell, but living over here, not having been brought up reading history from an Irish perspective, the general concensus is that Rangers are bigots etc. As a catholic raised in England without the "benefit" of all the history, it seems to me that, in general, Celtic fans are as bigoted as Rangers. Although I could be wrong.

I like Celtic, because of Kenny Dalglish, and they have a good history (including the impressive fact about being the first "British" team to win the European Cup, with a team of lads who all came from within a 30 mile radius of Parkhead), but I also like (and favour) Rangers, probably because I like what Graeme Souness did when he went there, I like Paul Gascoigne, and I am irritated at the bias towards Celtic in this country (Ireland).

My 2 points are

1) Celtic are as much bigots as Rangers.
2) People in Ireland should bloody support Shamrock Rovers or Shels, or Bohs, and if they did, the Irish team would benefit in the long run. If (for example) Norway can sustain a strong International team, I don't see why ireland can't.

Support your local team. Don't bloody support Celtic, Man U etc and then Argentina, Portugal, or whoever England is playing.

By the way, if Man U are playing in Europe, I want them to win, and in the premiership, I always want the other team, but that is because 1) I am jealous and 2) Man U are the best and I just happen to go for the underdog.

I also think David Beckham is a great player and good luck to him.

I think I may have gone on too much....

Just a thought...
