Yeah, made me quite sad to see him. Great goal though, he linked up well with Joe Cole, who was bossing it last night. When is he (joe) gonna get a full cap?

What a shame we werent in a position to buy him. NEVER KNOW THOUGH FOOTBALL'S A FUNNY GAME, YOU NEVER KNOW WE COULD GET HIM AS HE WONT GET INTO THE ENGLAND FULL SQUAD FOR SOME TIME AS HE NEEDS ALOT OF FIRST TEAM FOOTBALL IN THE PREM TO MAKE THE FULL SQUAD (WHICH HE WONT GET PROBABLY) AND MAY FEEL BETTER COMING TO PALACE (AS HE WILL STILL MAKE THE U-21's AND IF HE SEES US MAKE PROGRESS HE MAY JOIN (Then Get a Big Money move to a top Club) AS LONG AS WE GIVE HIM A CLAUSE SO THAT HE CAN GO THEN HE MAY JOIN US (Then if we get promoted and do e.g. a Sunderland) he may decide to get a new contract with no clause and STAY.

I think it is EXTREMEMLY UNLIKELY.

Good Luck to Him though.

He won't get a full cap until he is a regular in the Arse team, which won't be this season. There is a chance we could still get him. Wait till Christmas and then try again!!

It's nice to dream but there is bugger all chance of getting Ashley back, do you really think we're the only team who rate him?

I think the whole premier league will be ahead of us in the queue

How come he didn't get called up for the U21s when he played superbly for us. What with Mullins exclusion last season is it not abundantly clear that Wilkinson as no regard for us.

Slightly off topic. I know he is a 1st Division player but on his rich vein of form
does anybody else think that Jansen may be a worthy addition to the England Squad or perhaps a restoration of the 'B' squad.

Matt Jansen is currently serving a 3 month ban on International football due to bad behaviour in the summer.
Very unlike Matt.

I had a struggle trying to pick out Ashley last night after he joined everyone else in shaving their hair off!!!

There was never a bid for Ashley Cole:

It was a rouse, a poor rouse to get us onside with Mr Lim. The crazy thing was Lim didn't even know about it until someone told him two days later.
