Sorry if its been posted elsewhere but I thought people would like to know the latest ticket information for the Liverpool game.

I picked up my tickets from the box office this morning and was told that only the remaining season ticket holder’s seats were now available. All other areas including restricted views are SOLD OUT. The box office anticipate that all remaining season ticket seats will be claimed so there will be NO or at best very few remaining seats for club members or general public on sale after Saturday.

And to think certain cretins on the bbs and the adder paper thought the game wouldn't be sold out....

Bit pissed off I couldn't get a ticket really, but that's the way it goes I guess. Oh well can watch it in a nice comfy pub with a pint :p

Bit late in the day and pointless to ask now really, but why were ST holders allowed up to 4 tickets before even going on sale to Golden Eagles/Members? From a few postings I have seen and just using general logic, this system has given tickets to complete casual supporters even before those who for whatever reason don't have a ST, but may still be regular and 'loyal' supporters...

We ordered guest tickets for the Arthur Waite on Saturday and got them today, they're in Block R so i'm not surprised that we're nearly all sold out. I would have thought that there would be about 500 tickets left after Saturday, probably less.

There'll be fights outside the ticket office on Saturday ;)

ST Holders are entitled to the same benifits as members.

Bobby you could always get your old mans ticket and take a mate of offer it to someone on the BBS, then at least they would save the extra tenner they would have to pay!

BY SJ's reckoning i'm a casual supporter, even though I can count on one hand the number of home games I have missed in 13 years. But then if you're not a ST holder or Golden Eagle member, you're not a loyal fan, are you? ;)

Next time I want to see guest tickets at DOUBLE the price. I'd pay it - I wonder how many of these other 1-game-a-season tossers would?

Double the price??? Great idea that is, that's really going to drag in extra support for the club is'nt it?? Those floating fans who may suddenly decide to go on the day or kids who may want to go to their first match, those prices will really drag the punters in won't they? Any more bright ideas??

**** the floating fans. Funny how they suddenly all appear for a game against Liverpool. You want to float? Float in against Burnley on Saturday. :hmph:

And if the kids want to come there are at least 2 family days a season where they get in for £1, so that's no excuse. :bash:

Trying to be slightly more positive... Double the price but offer vouchers for the next 2 home league games - as you say it might get a few more people along in the long term, increases immediate revenue through programme and beverage sales and offers value for money. What more could a loyal CPFC fan want? ;) :p

That's more like it!!!! :p Get em in for a big game & then hopefully get em hooked on it & along for the less glamourous games.

Post 1 was from passionate fan well pissed off coz I know barring the generosity of a close relative (and we ain't famed for it) I'm not going :sob:

Post 2 was from the perspective of man who has admitted defeat and is looking to the future of CPFC when 8,000 or so people who go to the Liverpool game won't be about... :grrr:

Can't see how expressing a few doubts makes me a cretin?

It'll be interesting to see when/if Liverpool score just how many of them managed to get tickets in other areas like last time...

Agree Neil. Been speaking to my Scouse mate who holds a season ticket for Liverpool. They are currently only selling to their fans who are ST holders AND have a Man City away ticket stubb.

Just for reference, my mate just got one of the last three seats available in the Liverpool end (from the Anfield Box Office) - So it seems there won't be a spare seat in the house come Sunday!

My old dad came through, bless him. I will be in Block C of the Main Stand on Sunday.

Once AGAIN after being given false information by a certain member of box office staff. He's just lucky he let me on the coach to Middleboro in 93/94 or i'd start to complain. Not that'd do much good, I suppose SJ has kept the same philosophy Uncle Ron had about paying peanuts....
