Where are our new signings?

We're nearing the end of the week, and there has been no news of any more signings - didn't Coppell say that he hoped to have found a new defender by now?

Does ANYONE have any inside info on the options being considered by Coppell - and why we are taking our time about signing anyone? - the new players will need time to gel with the team and the season starts VERY soon!

Please tell me when Steve has had time to watch players, or do you want him to sign crap that he hasn't seen. Steve did not have scout's last season so it's going to take time, players are not only watched once and I think friendlies would be ideal. Give Steve time, Rome wasn't built after a few friendlies.
