OK guys we have two straight forward games for you this week.
First up is
Ulkaine vs Mexico You play as Ulkaine on 5* They have the arrows on up , you on ? (happy zonnin?)
Second game
Man Utd vs Real Marid on 5* star. You are Man spit Utd again with arrows set as ? and Real with arrow set up.
Also this week as a bonus:
Go into training mode choose England and using any player you want to do the free kick UTC Umbro thing. You get one pratice go and then have to PM me your score. The highest score posted by next Friday get 3 extra points.

Ok, three games played last night at 3am when I got home, should see me rocket up the table.
Celtic 1-0 Rangers.
Difficult to create chances on this view. Larsson took one of the two that were created all game, by either team. Lennon cross, Hartson header across goal, Larsson dives in to give Mike three precious points.
England 3-1 Cameroon
Cameroon deserved nothing, Becks on fire as he proved by setting up Owen's 12th minute headed strike and by putting England 2-1 up ten minutes into the second half with an identical goal to the one he scored against Finland in a WCQ. Scholes rapped it up with a goal I defy anyone to better.
Man Utd 1-0 Real Madrid.
Abysmal first half, inspired tactical substitution and formation change putting Veron at AMC pays off with Juan sneaking in a 70th minute winner.
All that's left to play is the Ukraine game, but is it against Romania or against Mexico (my countrymen)? Either way, Husin (the best player in the game) should get me the points to see me climb to third, four points behind the leaders. After a shakey start, my campaign is back on track.

What an entertaining game! Defence was totally asleep in the first half, and I had to get myself going for the second period. Thumping header from Vorobei was followed up by the same player hitting the post, the ball rebounding back off the keeper and trickling into the net - very similar to my equaliser for Celtic last week! Was then forced into a professional foul as their striker ran through on goal, but it was a risk that payed off when Husin stole the ball off a defenders' foot and produced a cool finish. Get in!

Absolute scorcher of a game! One apiece at half time, before a wonderful second half performance from Paul Scholes laid on Oranges036 (or whatever number Ruud is!) for two sublime finishes. Not that it was all one way traffic - at 1-1 Zidane smacked a free kick against the bar, and then in the last minute Roberto Carlos belted a 35-yarder against the post. Great game. :)

Awful performance against Mexico. Well awful finishing anyway, only a 2-1 win. Shevchenko came off the bench to set up Vorobei for a tap in, before scoring a sublime goal himself. Shoddy defending let in Francisco Palencia 10 minutes from time. Should have won at a canter, another goal would have put me third. As it is, I'm going to have to settle for fourth place, behind Ben on goals scored..

3-0 down after 32 minutes and all I could think about was how Lambeth was going to take the mick about my goal difference! Then Helguira got sent off for a tackle on Yorke and the game changed completely.
Every single shot that Ruud had flew into the top corner! I don't think I've ever come back from 3-0 down at any level, let alone level 5 where their form is better than mine!
Blanc was unfairly sent off with about 20 mins to go and Real then piled on the pressure. Shot after shot, chance after chance - but the closest they went was a R.Carlos cross that bounced over Barthez and onto the top of the bar.

Mexico opened the scoring with Lapencia on 38 and I felt it would be one of those games, but I got back into it and after the break Holouko 52 hit a screamer from the edge of the box to level thing up. Then I got a freekick and used a trick Lambeth taught me and Rebrov nodded home on 71 to win it.

My PES2 career has consisted entirely of playing as England. I've been at level 5 standard for months, so to have lost this game would've been inexcusable. In all honesty, though, I was slightly fortunate to win. Cameroon hit the post whilst the game was still goal-less & a wonder save from David Seaman prevented them equalising in the final moments.
I must say that having to post my results on here makes the games much more exciting. Unfortunately the added pressure is lowering, rather than raising, the standard of my performances. Still, the 3 points are the most important thing...

Initially, Kev & I were playing the games simultaneously. That way we could each vouch for the authenticity of the other's results. Unfortunately our working hours are such that we go weeks on end without both being in the flat (and awake) at the same time. Realising I was slipping down the table, I decided to start playing the games on my own. I've suffered a couple of defeats, so I hope that proves I'm not cheating?
As for Kev - I'd suggest sending him a PM telling him to pull his f***in' finger out?!

As you can see from the stats - I deserved a draw! Was 1-1 with 12 mins to go and I switched to a 4-3-3 formation to try and nick it. It so nearly worked, but Arsenal countered and a Henry shot from outside the box would have been easily saved had it not hit my defender, keeper already dived left floundering on the floor as the ball rolls into the opposite side of the net.... :sob:

Having already lost once and knowing I was playing the scum, I was determined to win this one. Dominated - depsite their higher number of mostly long-range shots - and could have won by more. Took the lead when Arif headed in Mbo Mpenza's cross, and went too up with a lovely flicked header into the top corner by Umit, from Hasan Sas's free kick. Umit then missed a one-on-one which almost proved costly - Oranges001 (ie Bergkamp) pulled one back, and then smashed an injury time shot towards the top corner - only for my keeper to pull off a wonderful stop. Three deserved points - but only just!

Went in front early doord with Umit Kaven on 16 but all down hill from then on. Had to endure total pressure for the last 10 minutes of the first half. Then got a player sent off before letting in a soft goal, nearly sntached it at the end but it would have been unjust.

This is just an idea at present, but along with next weeks games, I am thinking of putting in another bonus game. This time it will only be open to the players in the bottom half of the table. This is to help us lesser players keep in touch with you good lot.Does this sound OK?

Lee, how about this: You do a comp but it is seeded, so for each position down the table you take off a certain amount of points.
Eg for the free kick one the player 1st in the table loses 120 off his score, the one in second loses 110, etc...

Hate to say it, but if ANYONE on here wins this game I'll have my suspicions. So absurdly hard it was almost unplayable - impossible for your strikers to win anything against Jaap Stam for example, and the whole team too slow to put passes together. A little hard for the 14th game, should have been the last one IMHO as I assume we're trying to get progressively harder?

Had really high hopes I could snatch a draw here! Wasn't outplayed, but my negative defensive tactics in the first half didn't help. Playing with 3 up front in the 2nd half gave me a lot more opportunities, but Wilmots missing two great chances meant I end up with 0 points. :(

1st minute & I manage to work a man clean through. Some dirty, Dutch so & so commits a blatant professional foul right on the edge of the area & I'm screaming penalty & red card...
...result yellow card & free-kick on the edge! (Anyone remember Ronald Koeman, David Platt & England failing to qualify for the 1994 World Cup finals?)
In all fairness, I did score from the free-kick & I was totally outplayed for the rest of the game but had I been playing 89 mins against 10 men...
The Dutch hit the post twice whilst the scores were level & then, just as I thought I was going to earn a creditable draw, the gits went & won the game. To rub salt in my gaping wounds, they then got another in injury time.
So, my winless run continues. But it could've been so different!

Got the goal i needed very early on and decided to defend it. Luckily it paid off, despite the fact that the Argentinians were pressing and Hussein had a goal disallowed for offside. I managed to keep the ball fairly well, without creating many chances in the second half, but the cheating Argies couldn't find the back of my net. 3 vital (and unlikely)points at the bottom of the table!!!! :p
