Saw this on the pesfan site and think we could do it on hear. Gmaes are posted on this page and you have to play them. Of course you have to be honest then post the results back on this page. The normal rules apply 3pts for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.
For example Week one game
You play as Spain Vs Germany on 4 stars for 10 mins.
Once you have played you post the result ie
Spain 2 Raul 2 Germany 0
Booking none
And a brief discription of the game if you want.
I will collect the results each week and post a league table, we will play say 20 games? And the games can be what you like such as classic world cup finals or european cup finals.
So what do you think and who's in?

Its just an idea as orgainsing touraments can only be done every six months or so, where this can be an on going thing. The reason I think it will work BTW is that I know most of the guys and they would'nt bother lying.

Stavros, I only have a go because you keep coming on here knocking all the tournaments and making them sound like they are below you. It's easy mate, if you don't want to play, fine, I couldn't care less, but don't keep coming on here shouting your mouth off when your not even prepared to join in. :hmph:

Tight game, but I never really looked like conceding. Had an opportunity to make it 2-0 just before half time, but Bierhoff's lob dropped just over the bar.

Neuville goal was a nice turn on the edge of the box, where he then driilled a low shot into the bottom corner.

Much tougher game. Decided to start with Vieri and Montella up front with Del Piero sitting out the first half. France pretty much controlled the first half and Zidane was running the show. Barthez did pull off two incredible saves towards the end though.

Second half was better. Zambrotta opened the scoring when he overlapped the strikers and received a through ball. Then Del Piero (who came on just after the first goal) got free and put the ball under the dive of Barthez. I then tried to sit back and defend, but conceded when a French free kick by the corner flag was headed down by Wiltord and Trezeguet swiveled and volleyed home.

No, no Carl- I play on 5*, 4 is just too easy. In fact I've found that the game has become too easy, all I do now is play World Cups as Australia, Belgium etc. or Master Leagues with the default players.

I'll play the games Saturday night, then inform Pallet of my results.

I like playing as Germany and then using a very defensive 4-4-1-1 to piss off my mates. Usually soak up all the pressure, before scoring on my 1 counter attack.

Germany rode there luck in the first half - kahn the hero. The Germans finding it hard to get a shot as the south-americans played their hap-hazard game of defending fouling the Germans at t'edge of the box at every oppurnity.

Germany scored the only goal of a dull game when ramelow headed a corner clear to the edge of the box and the arrogant tw@t legged it down the pitch before turning a few times in the box and scoring c/o cack goalkeeping from Marcos with a drive from bowt 25yards.

Sac re bleur my pomme-da-terre! I took off Coco and replaced him with an Attacking Mid I havent heard of! France after a birhgt start faded and Zidane was there only real spark for most of t'game. Henry had a stinker! :lux:

Both goals came from counter attacks and the ball being spread from t'other wing by Vieri - it was crap and France we're quite tough. Henry missed two one-on-ones.

Almost a classic 'Palace performance'. Wouldn't say that I was fortunate to win, but I left it bloody late. 1st half was dull, as it took me a while to get going. Roberto Larcos almost replicated his wonder free kick, but this time Kahn made a save. Towards the end of the half, Ballack twice had long range efforts parried by Marcos. As the 2nd half went on, it looked as if it wasn't going to be my day- shots blocked and saved all over the place. On 75 minutes Klose, on as a sub, did his best Akinbiyi impression by making very weak contact with a free header, 6 yards out. On 83 minutes Ballack summed up my luck by cracking the underside of the bar from 20 yards. After that the Brazillians began to attack more, but in injury time Ramelow broke up an attack and set up a counter. Deisler beat his man on the edge of the box, played it inside to the unmarked Klose who, from six yards out, swept the ball on to the post. Fortunately Neuville was on hand to tap home the rebound. But only just.

A professional performance, a much better game of football and a more comfortable victory than the scoreline suggests. France's early pressure rewarded with a wonderful solo goal from Petit, but after that neat football let Doni in for the equaliser and Totti's run led to the penalty which Supa Al converted. No threat whatsoever after that.

Bloody hell, glad the first games are over and that I've got a 100% record. Would have been bad to lose ground already. Again, like I did at Chessington, I played very nervously. But I suppose I put some good moves together when it mattered. What a difference it was to play with a team full of class players (Italy, as opposed to Germany). Also, Klose is absolute sh*t and Scholl is ineffective. Looking forward to winning this competition.

Awful start, playing pants and 0-2 down at half time. Lucky that Diesler's free kick went straight through the wall, before two good finishes from Klose put me ahead. Still the action wasn't over though - went to tackle a blatantly offside Ronaldo and won the ball, but (shades of my Zonin semi final here!) the ref gave the decision against me. Off went Nowotny, but I dived to the bottom left and saved Ronaldinho's pen.

The better side throughout, but still did my best to throw it away. Vieri put me up after a lovely one two with Del Piero from the kickoff, but a punt upfield from Gallas was missed by my last defender and Henry equalised. Totti nodded in a corner before more sloppy defending gifted Makalele a goal from ZZ's assist, but as fine strike 25-yard strike from Zambrotta won it for me.

Both great games, look forward to the next ones!!

brazil 0 vs 2 germany Half-time

well first half was tottlay dominated by germany (me) lol
a fine shot from hamman for the edge of the box put me 1 up and my second came right at the end of the half from the penalty spot after scholl was brought down by marcos who luckly only got a yellow..
brazils only efforts came from two well struck free kicks from ronadiniho, 1st went just over and the second was quite an impressive save to say the least from kahn......

To sum up the first half...if kolse had'nt been watching his (dele adibola's how to score) Dvd, it could have been a lot worse for brazil

second half

brazil came out for the second half a different side, shame that side was still not match for this german side. scholl banged in a screeeeeemerrrr from 25 yards but allas, that was the only goal in the second half as the germans were more content with showboating rather that increasing an already winning score-line.

france 0 vs 0 italy first half

well the only thing more amazing than france on 4* holding me at half time is the fact no goals were scored by either team....france hit both post in the opening ten mins whilst i had a shot DEFLECTED of the line by frank lepoof head... i also hit the post right before half-time.

great game..shame theres no goals

It was probably similar to the penalty Berg won against me...:sob: By the way, you can level out all the players in our offline comp so that none of them have down arrows and all are equal. Obviously, if you are going to do this, make sure you do the same for the opposing team as well.;)

He's already told me, he's going for a challenging couple of ties.
1. You are France, with all your players on red arrows, and you play Jamaica, with all their players on gray arrows.
2. You play as Brazil and you play China, but with the other team set as player 2, rather than the computer. You only use the second controller whenever there is a goal kick, throw in etc. to China, or when they kick off after you've scored.

Both games on 1 star, 30 minutes long.

Yeah, it wasn't easy. I wouldn't be surprised if a few people lost it. The crucial thing is the arrows. Otherwise I think I would have won. I could have played a lot better though, people like Jorge, Berg and Kev T's flatmate will have a 50/50 chance.

A game I should have won but threw away at the death. The opening goal was a cracker, Sinclair breaking down the right and putting in a low cross which was met by a sliding shot from Kanoute. Best chance of the second half fall to my left back Tomas Repka, who found himself one on one cutting in from the left but put the ball wide. Minutes later I was made to pay as Dailly misplaced a pass straight to Addo, who ran through to equalise.

(I actually went on to win the game in extra time, once I'd written all the stats down, with a scorcher from Di Canio - sadly too late to count! :sob: )

One of the skankiest victories ever on PES2. They tore me to shreds in the first half with eight shots on goal and some amazing point blank saves by my keeper, Ibraim. Very much playing on the counter attack and it paid off as Kimari tackled their last defender and blasted the ball past Keller early in the second period. More hands to the pump as pressure mounted but then a cross from the right gave Kilampour a golden chance to finish it off - and he struck the post from about three yards! To make it worse they went straight up the other end, put Donovan through one on one - and hit the post as well!! Spent the last few minutes holding on and spanking long balls into touch - and held on for the victory!!!!!! GET THE •••• IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :)

Dortmund dominated the first 15mins and could have been 3 up as their strikers out paced West Ham's ageing defence.

From then on though West Ham took control. The ref was terrible and didn't even blow up once when Kanoute was twice brought down when clear on goal. West Ham did eventually get the equaliser though and Kanoute missed a clear one on one in the last minute.

Checked out West Ham's players. Realised that the pace of Todorov was a better bet then the painfully slow Canoute and it paid off. I should have wone by more but, there was a bit too much show boating once I had got in front. Haydn Foxe is worth having in defence and Hutchinson is worth a place in the midfield.

One of the most enjoyable games so far - a real tactical battle. After the first 20mins I thought it had 0-0 written all over it, but the Bibilan went around 3 Romania defenders and slipped it under the keeper - earning a saved goal on my memory card!

After that is was pretty comfortable and Bibilan rounded off a great performance with a good strike that sealed the game!

Tough, very tough. Got plenty of shots in but struggled to take the game by the scruff of the neck, and was saved by three classy finishes by Andrei Shevchenko. Was lucky though - a blatant foul on Alan Shearer in my own box went unpunished. Final whistle met with utter relief!

Most boring game I think I've ever played. Couldn't get anything going and was sitting there swearing at dropping two points for the last half an hour! In desperation replaced Balaban and Boksic with Vugrenic and Stanic and got lucky with almost the last kick of the game - a speculative effort from the edge of the box that crept into the bottom corner. I was going mental. Does that make me very, very sad?

WHAT A SECOND HALF.....AMAZING...newcastle scored right at the begining of the half....(the whole in my defence deu to the sending off was coming back to haunt me)
then a inzaghi hat-trick in the space of 10mins got me back infront...........followed by a quite 20mins which set up a stupendus last 10mins where newcastle scored first..(i really should have done something about the whole in my defence) only to have me score a free kick with rui costa in the 88 min.....WHAT A GAME.....

Celtic v Rangers on 4*Take the Super hoops to victory over the Huns, 10 mins, arrows up, and wait for it on NEAR VIEW.

Mate, you had 63 % posession and let in three goals! I think you have to master the tactical ;) side of the game. Week three's fixtures will have to be played tomorrow. I am too ••••ed!

Very nervy game!!! The dirty bastards injured Rui Costa early on, but, I brought on Sarbinho and moved Redondo from the left to the middle. He rewarded me with the winner. Even on four star, that was ABSURDLY hard. The most impossible view ever. I gave up at half time and created a 3-1-3-3 formation and just pumped long balls forward. Paid off six minutes from time, when Chris Sutton headed Henrik Larsson's corner goalwards. The Rangers keeper saved on the line but it hit the back of the defender on the post and went in. A lucky escape - still unbeaten, just!!!
