Can someone explain how to get the little smiley faces on my postings? I've e mailed the 'administrators' but they are too busy to reply.

On the top right of the page just below the ad there are two buttons and a little cluster of words. Click on faq and all shall be revealed http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

Well smiley's have stopped working on my PC - I click on the "View Smiley Codes" button and a liitle message comes up in my status bar telling me there's an "Error on page."

I can only do them if I can remember the codes...

Try clicking on "*Smiley Legend" on the left hand side of the reply box. It's under "*HTML is ON" & "*UBB Code is ON." Sadly not all the smilies are there as we've certainly lost Mellor and the two cows and we've seemed to have run out of beer.

Here's some more smilie codes, colon = : , and don't type in the + between the colon and the letter.

Clicking on *Smiley Legend to the left of your reply box works. But if it doesn't for you - try these - just remove the spaces.

For some reason today I can't get onto that site that Skid Row mentioned earlier (I got into it yesterday evening).

Slimbloke, the best thing to do at the moment is to click on "edit" on my post (i.e. as if you are going to edit my post) with the smilie you want and copy the code for the smilie, which you can then paste onto your post. Don't forget to copy the "IMG" and the square brakets either side and similarly the "/IMG" and the square brackets at the end of the web site for the smilie icon.

Also please still use the normal smilies available in the BBS as well or I'll get shot to death by Dave!
