Is it just me or was 90s mucis top stuff?

Just listening to Mark Morrison - Return of the Mac, 2pac - Changes, Mc Hammer - Can;t touch this and Ice Ice baby and have many others such as the whole old school Livin Joy - Dreamer etc ones and they are great! Maybe because they are familiar and bring back memories but love them. Personally I love listening to such songs along with Oasis ones (which were hits in them days) and classics such as Ocean Colour Scene the day we caught the train etc.

What other ones are there?

Even the annoying ones are looked back on fondly! E.g. Things can only get better etc. Lets do a whole early and mid 90s list of songs thing. Not exactly old school for most of you oldies but give it a go if your brain still works anyway eh? :)

I personally think music has been getting worse since the mid 1980's.Then again I like my music played with instruments rather than the sampled, synth or boy/girl band crap type stuff.

I had managed to banish the memory of most of that ••••. I was forced to go to nightclubs during the period, say 1992-5, and the only 'dance' tune that had merit to any meaningful degree was 'Ain't No Love, Ain't No Use' by Sub Sub (an embryonic form of Doves).

The rest of it was unmitigated gobshite.

You'll be pleased to know that Peter Andre is the current number one second-hand clearout champion. Just drop into any charity shop or car boot sale, and you will find more tatty C.D. singles by him for sale than even the Spice Girls or 911.

Have to disagree with LL cool J, the Chaka Khan version was far better.

The rest are bad. Ace of Base-All that she wants, was that the 90s or newer?

Sorry was on the wrong track there for a little while.

Why don't we add in Whigfield, Right said Fred and the Spice Girls since you have already mentioned such landmarks as R Kelly and Ace of Base.
