I read the whole 'Disgrace' thread this morning from start to finish. It was a good thread containing many contrasting views on Saturdays match.

Suddenly out of nowhere it gets closed - why? James closed it due to 'personal insults being made'???

Brett and Anti crossed words a few times, but only with regard to their football analytical skills - hardly earth shattering. I assume the closure was due to a comment made by Stephenson Soundbyter about what a 'screw up' was - now I may have missed something but i'm pretty sure that his explanation was a bit out of the blue and actually didn't relate to anything anyone else had said.

If i'm wrong then please let me know. I just feel that in this case a perfectly good thread has been closed for no reason.

Dodger - I dare say that a moderator can clarify things but I think that someone posted something offensive and personal that was seen by the intended recipient before the moderators had had time to edit it out.

I think i've now seen an edited comment on another thread that maybe clears up the mystery.

It's still a shame that good threads often get ruined and therefore have to be closed.
