View Full Version : Yellow/Red cards on the BBS?

Personnal abuse and insults have ruined a lot of good threads on the BBS recently, how about introducing a penalty system for those that consistently abuse BBS rules and regulations.

A yellow should be shown to someone who breaks the rules. A second offence shows them the red card, resulting in a 3 or 5 days ban from the BBS (depending on the severity of the situation) Could even keep a 'league table' of abusers.

In the words of out great webmaster - just a thought! http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

I'll re-register as "Roy Keane" and get away with murder.

Just kidding guys, couldn't do it really! http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

How about putting an appropriate symbol by the persons name?

General bitchiness could receive a small handbag, or perhaps a 'cats claw' to shame the guilty party for a few days.

The resulting embarassment factor should cut down on the problem.

Why can't we just round them up and stone them like the old days?

Stone them ?

What are you Kev, some sort of tosser ?

Gay, Foreign and disabled people like you make me sick and you should all go back where you come from.

( PS what would the above get me. Automatic Red or just a mild telling off. Have to say though that I love the idea of a league table for bad behaviour on the board )

I see nothing wrong with the odd stoning. Maybe we could round up all those evil menaces and have a fight to the finish. Failing that those with the most red cards could be hung, drawn and quartered and splattered around thier stomping ground. Or maybe we could organise a nice duel where the offenders have to wear a fancy, frilly frocks whilst battling it out for their saucers of milk.

I agree about the stoning. I was stoned on Saturday night, and it felt fab...

That system will just encourage abuse. Being top of the bad behaviour league will just have a sort of anti-hero cred and people will end up trying to out-do each other.
In the real world it never did that Vinnie Jones any harm either.
