Whoo hoo, might have sorted out my accom for tomorrow. :)
I can get on to sorting the football now ;)

GreatGonzo
Real name: Mark Tyrrell
D.O.B: 23rd April 1979 24 years old
Position: Player/Manager
A tactical genius who has turned around the fortunes of flagging Orient, a great spotter of talent the latest additions to the Orient ranks have left fans with great optimism. On the field he has a great eye for a pass, only matched by the lack of tecnique to play it. Ties defenders up in knots on accasions, they do not seem to know what he is going to do, probably because neither does he! To cap it off his finishing is legendary, and is full of confidence after winning goal of the season for his debut strike at Thomas Moore. With 1 goal and2 assists in his 4 appearances for OOFC is certainly one to watch but maybe not one to remember.

Ben, seems you did book the right one :D!
She had trouble finding you on "her screen". But then she did, and it's all fine :)
"On the big pitch" she said to me, so that's the right one :)!
Well done :p

Were Gonzo's assists akin to Adebola's at Anfield? You know, accidentally fooling the defence with a mistimed header/ shot/ shout of "Aleks! Wherefore art thou my love?!"?

Daniel_Nash
Real name: Daniel Stuart Nash
D.O.B: 28th September 1983, 19 years old
Position: Defender/Midfielder/Attacker Left/Centre
A talented left sided player, strong in the tackle and hard working (if in the right mood). A good passer of the ball, set piece taker and a responsible captain who leads by example. This player also possesses a mean left footed shot, his right foot efforts are talked about with much less enthusiasm and are often joked about. His only let down is a tendancy to get annoyed with his team-mates when in acres of space, calling for the ball and being ignored. Certainly someone who could shine if given the chance. :)

One set up Trilby for a tap in, the other was a great flick on!
Trilby - there was a keeper, but he was on his arse in the back of the net! :D What a miss that was, i am very proud of that to this day!

Right gentlemen (and Gonzo),
Pitch is booked for 1 PM (that's ONE) until 2.30 for this Saturday, 26 June.
The fee was £80 so should come to about £6 each, depending how many turn up. I'll try and collect money from people before KO, please try and bring some change rather than just notes!
I'll be getting to Old Street about 12.30. I'm coming changed but they may have facilities - Dan?!
So far here's the teams AFAIK:
BBS
Definites: Benzhiyi, Zonin, Pallet, Lambeth, 358, The Omen, AndyStreet, Andy (Goals), Karl (Jorge's mate), Marczhiyi, Colum.
Unconfirmed: Holmesy, Holmesy's mate, Berg
Orient Ladies
Definites: Dan Nash, Trilby, Latvian, Rob, Leebo, Palko
Might turn up seeing as it's not a Sunday, but only if Palace's squad numbers have been announced: Latvian Eagle
Status unknown: Mark Akinboliko
PS Dan, thanks, and just a reminder... :o

They have a school-like changing room in the complex itself. With lockers too. But if there are plenty of people watching the game, it'll be safe enough to get changed and bring your stuff out and leave it outside with everyone else.
Yep, i remember that post ;) Don't worry. As long as it's not Hoegaarden!!!

PLEASE BE THERE FOR 12.45 AT THE LATEST AS WE ARE PAYING FOR THE PITCH FROM 1 SO WE MAY AS WELL START THEN RATHER THAN FANNY AROUND FOR 20 MINUTES!!
(thank you!)

Trains to Old Street are very easy, i shall be going from Kings Cross on the Northern Line. It's 1 stop (i think).
However, no idea where you go after leaving Old St. I hope it's signposted.

Latvian Eagle (Jimbo)
Real name: James (Jνmmν) Lee Buckley
D.O.B: 20th February 1984 (19 Years Old)
Position: Goalkeeper
Talented young keeper. Lacks height but makes up for this with his ability. Started out with Thornton Athletic where he staked claim to the number one jersey for 3 seasons scoring two goals in his time, claiming managers player of the season twice. Moved to Wickham Wanderers where he played all but two games of a successful season. A freak injury left his career in the balance and he didn't play properly again until Oxted Orient chairman and new Manager Chris Young (Latvian) and Mark Tyrrell (Great Gonzo) threw him a life line. After an initial shaky start he staked his claim as number one with fine performances particularly home to Godstone the eventual league champions. Sent off once in the 9 games he played. Also made an appearance in Crystal Palace's successful REMF 2003 winning team. Also known as a bit of a penalty specialist (Taking and saving).

Probably has gone to some people's junk folder though. I also made an error in the text. It's only southbound tube for me, but for you lot it'd be north!

Pallet
Real name:Lee Anthony Agus
DOB:60's love child
Position:Centre forward
This young at heart player once on the books of such great teams as Enfield Park and Echo FC is now in the twilight of his career. The mind is strong but the body is not so willing and the I will be soon hanging up my boots and trusting all of my knowledge into my young son. As some of you saw I have already given him half of what I know with the old drag back and finish.I have been forced out of retirement by the lure of playing at Selhurst Park, but after the rematch with Oxted in Sept hopefully, I shall slip peacefully away to eat chocolate, drink beer and get fatter.

Real Name: Chris Young
DOB: 28/07/82 (exactly half Pallets REAL age)
Position: I played EVERY role last year, though usually central/left midfield or defence.
The only Orient ever-present last season is seen as a Simon Rodger without the dodgy tesco-bag, has a shot like Carlos both as fast and accurate. Always certain to give 100% and be about 40% proof at kick-off.
Previous clubs: Include Oxted and (spit) D*strict, CPIFC :moo:, Warren Mead, Banstead Athletic and 1st Coulsdon (4th Purley) "Hunters" FC.

I am looking forward to linking up with Trilby, and waiting in vain for passes :D

Benzhiyi seems a good player - though hes up the other end of the pitch! Im really looking forward to linking up with Dan Nash as he is an unknown quantity and so therefore already the most gifted player on our side :p

Real name: Jorge Manuel Domνnguez Paleo (Xurxiρo)
D.O.B: 23 January 1973, 30 years 'young'
Position: Subs bench
Pace has long since deserted this 'no-nonsense' utility player, but, the cynicism is still there in abundance. A career that has mirrored that of Maradona's in more ways than one, particularly since he ended his playing days at Boca. A tendency to go 'missing' is ever present, pass the ball to him and you can be sure that he will try to lay it off as soon as possible. Credited with turning the 'toe-punt' into an art-form.

Mike is capable of filling various roles, from deep-lying schemer, to box-to-box engine, to support striker and back again to defensive hardman. Will probably be playing off Pallet on Saturday in the Dougie Freedman position, looking to thread balls through to all supporting players. Critics say he lacks genuine pace, but his vision and dead ball abilities still shine through. Started his career in the Brussels Sports Association 'Academy', moving on to St Johns School, RRC Waterloo, RSC La Hulpe, Harefield United and ACS Hillingdon. Made some appearences for KCL 2nd and 3rd XI's last season but his season was severely disrupted by injury.

First and foremost I'm very much looking forward to lining up against all the Oxted players that I've played with before. I respect the abilities of Trilby and Latvian but am confident that we can nullify their threat.
As for my team, I'm once again looking forward to linking up with Lambeth and, particularly, Pallet whom I hope to provide ammunition for. I also look forward to being protected by our watertight defence, led by our skipper Benzhiyi. Finally, also looking forward to trying to carry my cousin 358eagle through the game...

Do we sense division in the Oxted Orient ranks!? I certainly think so. The zone won't matter when there is so much disagreement and disharmony in their camp. If only they had the team spirit of FC BBS. Even then they'd still be technically inferior. Methinks Orient are running scared.
