This will probably make me sound like a miserable old git, but it's something that's been bugging me for quite some time.
The problem I've got is people using quotes in their postings.
I think quotes are really useful, when you just use the odd couple of lines to make something obviously relevant. But what annoys me is when people reproduce the whole of someone else's message, for no apparent reason. It's particularly irritating when the message quoted is directly above.
It's just a small gripe, and it doesn't really matter that much, but I just thought I would get it off my chest. Does this annoy anyone else, or is it just me?

Cheers, mate. Didn't think that would take long. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif I suppose that's called setting yourself up for a fall! Serious(ish) point though, cos it does p1ss me off a bit sometimes.

Raf, I was going to call you a miserable git for moaning but I declined at the last minute because I was worried that someone might misquote me.

By the way, you can quote me on that.

Bananas and choc ices....../b]

It's even worse, of course, when the quote bears no relevance to your point.....

Right we've covered that, let's see what else that Raf is likely to find annoying, Oh yes, I'll start with people who repeatedly edit their own posts.

It doesn't upset me Raf - I have been guilty of having a go about multiple same-subject threads in the past and stuff like that but I'm so mellow these days that I don't care!

When one tries to "quote" someone, some funny stuff goes on in the underlying HTML and Dave has said elsewhere that when he gets time, he will fix this sort of thing.

I think, sometimes, it's because it's a bit fiddly to do otherwise that people end up just quoting the whole of the previous message.
