We could build this team without spending a penny on transfer fees:
Attackers: Teddy Sheringham, Tommy Mooney
Midfield: John Collins, Patrik Berger, Jody Morris, John Robinson
Defence: Henning Berg, Steve Vickers, Gianluca Festa, Albert Ferrer
GK: David Seaman.
Now all we need is probably a few million for wages.................

That would take care of about a £320k a week in wages!

But how many of them would actually want to come to Palace.

How would we get Seaman, Berger or Sheringham on a free?

We'd get relegated. Bunch of fancy-dans, been-there done-that mentality on fat salaries in the comfort zone.

Its better than CBlocks plan of buying players that "Always give 100%, never afraid to put a tackle in and get booked!" therefore leaving us with a full squad suspended for the season!
