Don't forget the time he kicked John Fashanu in the head either. He's still a psycho at Tannadice, getting sent off at regular intervals.

I'd welcome him back if I could just make myself forget his "passing skills".

I thought Patterson was quite good when he was last with us, even though we played him out of position. He probably wasn't Premier league standard, but neither were many of his team mates at the time, hence the relegation. However, I think he would be a useful additiion to our current squad.

Personally, I thought he was absolutely useless.

No wonder he spent over a year in the reserves!

We only ever used him as a right back,which he isnt.I've seen him play for Ireland a few times in the centre and he's pretty good. He's still a complete psycho though,him and Ruddock the centre back two,now theres an idea...

I'd pay £10 grand a week if I got to see him punch Roy Keane every week. Shame we are not in the Premier****.
