I think the table should be extended and then split, so you have the (in true Pop Idol style) really good promising people.. and the time-to-time maybe'rs.
Then they can be graded accordingly!

division 3-people with 500-1000 posts(like myself)
division2-people with 1000-2000 posts
division1-people 2000+ posts
24 people in each divison

Don't worry about all this 2 leagues and over 2,000 post malarky, I can assure you there are exciting plans afoot for Bilge Idol, but for the moment it stays as it is and maybe only 1 update per week :p
