Saturday is an early start for me.. then the WBA game, wine and food in the evening, sunday is football ALL day followed by - what looks like - kebabs delivered for dinner ;), monday is a day of.. er.. wandering about followed by getting pissed in the evening, and tuesday is another early start and possibly seeing my Nan :)

I always used to but two tickets every game without fail. At the begining of last season I decided to cut back and only buy the one each week. The very first draw that season the ticket after mine was drawn as the winner!!! :( True story!!! So much for trying to save money!

I think I've noticed an inverse correlation between overall bilge content and performance on the pitch? I know I post much more on Gold when things are not going well as the footy stuff is too depressing. We need bilge to cheer us up. Bring on more bilge I say.

I find myself agreeing with a lot of people about Bilge Idol and it’s affect on the quality of posts in Chit Chat Gold :( Over the last week, my enjoyment of the fluffies has diminished as every thread seems to have descended into Let’s Talk B*llocks All Day and I’ve found myself not being bothered to post in some for my “fluffy fix” during my working day :(
I think there are two groups of people in Bilge Idol …. There are the people who take Bilge Idol for what it was created for (tracking %age bilge) and there are others that take it as a target to post as much as they can to climb the table for the sake of it.
Now, I have absolutely no authority over anything in Chit Chat Gold and these are just my personal feelings, but if I continue to feel this way, I may suspend or even shut down Bilge Idol :sob: in an attempt to save the Chit Chat Gold I know and love :love:

Once upon a time there were two very distinctive threads in General Chit Chat - Alphabet and Let's talk bollo* all day. One was for chimps with attitude the other for apes with a problem (or something like that). Now there's a plethora of threads which, rather like the pigs and the humans at the end of Animal Farm, all look the same.
I've opted out of most because I can't see the point anymore and I've also opted out of the Bilge idol chart because its very much feel the quantity not the quality stuff.
And another thing ... since the introduction of bilge targets Palace have been f*cking awful; are the two connected? :D

I've thought this for quite a while now as well. Some of the threads are well past their sell by date.
Also, if you don't have time to post 30 plus a day it's bit difficult to keep up and join in with so many to choose from.

I agree with Wedgy and the old codger. Where has all the really fluffy stuff gone? I've been away for 5 weeks and I've notided a real difference in gold content - it's just not as fluffy as it was before I went away.
