Protective headgear will be worn by several US players in this years Womens World Cup
They are scared that the players will get a concussion :bash:
Why don't these people go feck around with one of their own sports and leave this lovely game alone. They want 20 mins quarters, so that stress does not become a factor :veryangry
Bloody hell the game has been doing fine without their help :veryangry

!00% agree with you. What's next, stopping the game so they can run a commercial?

Do away with offside (too complicated), have 2 refs (see more stuff), 4 quaters (too hot), 11 subs (let everyone have a game), sin bin (most forgive little mishaps), time out (need to be reminded what they are doing all the time)...... I could go on!
What?

That's fair enough because it WILL stop concussions. Just look at all the protection they wear in Gridiron, I'd be very surprised if there were any concussions as those helmets look like they'd prevent that sort of thing.
Surprised they arent playing the game on artifical grass yet.

Tell Troy Aikman and Steve Young that!
