Me, two bruv's and a nephew, can't wait. Would be great to go into the WH game only 3 points behind them.

First post btw, hello all

Me and the old man are going. :lux: :lux:

He has a friend who is a big Cardiff fan who got us tickets for the directors box. The old man turned them down as he wants to stand on the terraces!!

The Bath Eagles will be there in force, have been told by a few Bristol City fans to watch yourself coming out of the train station, ccfc fans are picking off groups of 1's and 2's especially. Also told without exception not to wear colours.

I studied in Cardiff for one year in the mid-80s and it was a wonderful place and no aggro whatsoever. The amount of interest in Cardiff FC amongst the locals was a big fat zilch - I think they were in the 3rd Div or something.

I saw a TV prog about late night drinking in Cardiff City Centre recently and the place looked like a feckin war zone or something, with all the usual cretins beating ten tons of shyte out of each other in and out of every drinking den in town.

Also looked like the entire City centre had become one gigantic pub.

Poor Cardiff, I thought. That was once a fine city and the women were absolutely great and no trouble from drunk taffs at all. I remember doing a late night sesh with a bunch of Iraqi medical students once, and a housemate who was a trainee chef from Carmarthen, a Welsh-speaking girl from Ammanford who's dad was the vicar and didn't speak English ( dinner at her parents was a laugh), and a Nigerian economics graduate who I used to go to school with in Lagos. What a bunch of odd ones. Good fun though.

I blame that awful BNP tosspot Hammam. He fecked up the Wimbleweeds and now he's turned Cardiff into a Welsh Millwall.

I'll be there but not sure how many others will. I got my tickets this morning and there was a pile of about 100 left. We have only been allocated 400 in total according to the official site.

It says 400 "seats". This might be because it is half a terrace and half seats ???

Cardiff allocate a corner of the ground to away fans usually. about 2000 in terracing in the Grange End and 400 seats in the Grandstand at the same corner.

Made me laugh the other day when I heard them singing

"to the Sheep Shagger 1-0" etc when they were winning!!

Bloody well hope they do not get the chance to sing to us on Saturday!

i'll be going up from exeter. my g'friend lives just outside cardiff in dinas powys, a sh!thole frankly.

been out in cardiff several times, never had any trouble at all, even though clearly being an englishman. my g'friend also has a mate who is a season ticket holder at ninian, i was discussing the cardiff rep with him a couple of weeks back and he said it was really overplayed, mainly away supporters that cause troble when cardiff travel.

i might wear a discreet palace sweatshirt tho!
