Have searched for ages with no success.

The clue is ... UK vocalist whose only hit was in 1994 with My Love and reached number 54. PA*R*C

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Reached number 54 with a song called Love Me in 1994, according to the Guinness Book of Hit Singles.

Not that I enourage cheating but if it was a top 40 hit (which it wasn't in this case) you might find http://www.everyhit.com to be useful.
