Now live on Sky Sports 2.

What result would suit us best? I think we have to hope for a Sunderland win. Despite Sunderland's poor recent form, they are still 4 points ahead of Palace with a game in hand. Wigan on the other hand are on 43 games (as are we) and only two points ahead. So, if we win today and Wigan lose we will be in the top six.

Should be an exciting match.

Can't see it (happening or on TV) but surely we require a Sunderland victory?

Reckon Wigan will win and Sunderland will down to 5th place by tonight.
Looking at the games later on...COME ON STOKE, READING & FOREST !

I was surprised by how anonymous Piper was on Wednesday.

Some interesting comments from the pundits (including TF) saying that on current form the play-off final should be between Palace and Ipswich.

Mick McCarthy moaning about bad results that have gone against Sunderland but saying that they were well beaten on Wednesday night.

Sunderland win (although a draw would be ok)
Forest win
Reading win
Stoke win

Either way the result doesn't really matter, we know what we have to do.

Having to make a choice, a Sunderland win would be more helpful, but only just.

We don't really want Wigan to win though do we?

1-1.

Some goals would be nice. A draw would be best for us, and would'nt be much cop to either team.

What?

Come on the Sunderland, if they win and we win we will be in the top 6 tonight

Surely 0-0 is better - if it comes down to goals scored that is.

By the looks of it Sunderland wont win, so a draw would be best

Trevor Francis said at half time that its a poor first division this year and if either of these teams go up they will come straite back down again. Then at the end he said if Sundeland go up through the play offs they will make sure they will stay there this time????

Wigan have to play West Ham so if (IF!) we win our two remaining games we are there.
