... for tomorrow's first leg at Selhurst.

30 minutes on the phone, general sale 3 per person (but if you get a nice one they'll let you get 2 adults and 2 concessions).

Feels like 89 all over again...

Just hope SP is a sell-out for the home fans.

When I went Wednesday afternoon I queued for about 50 mins. At the time we were told there were about 2500 tickets left, mainly in the Arthur Waite but also some in the main stand. A number of people were buying tickets for the away leg so I imagine there are still plenty available.

I suggest that anyone within easy driving distance should get in their car rather than hanging on the telephone.

Think it may be palace section only so .. it depends on how many we have given to sunderland wonder how many they have sold. no word from anyone will be intreting id say arounf 25,000 for this game 1,500 odd short of a total sell out!

Some of us live in the real world where someone gives us money for being at a certain place at a certain time and if we're not there then we don't get paid.

I would love to have enough spare hours in the day to get up to Sunderland but as i have a job i don't, so you can shove your headbanging smiley up your ass!

No offence mate, but as a fairly regular away supporter I racked my brains trying to think of ways I could go to the away leg and be back in Lewes and in decent shape for the exam I have Tuesday at 9.15am, and I couldn't pull it off. (Well without hiring a helicopter or something absurd) and I'm sure the inconvenient day of Monday will have caused a lot of others dissapointment - I don't happen to think this makes me less of a fan.

Hope no one minded as I am not a really a Palace supporter, but when I went there at around 10.00am this morning, this bloke said they only had 700-800 left - Everyone seems to be waiting for the home result before booking the away tickets as there seems to be shed loads of them available. PS only 1 person was in front of me.

intresting to know, would think that they might have shed loads of away tickets, because a lot of people cant make it, not just people waiting. Be a shame if we cant take our full allocation, but nothing people can do, none of my palace supporting freinds/family can make it, so im having to go on my own, just lucky that i can fit it in really.
Also its a lot of money, especially if we could have a final comming up.

Am Gutted. Been to quite a few away games this season, and this would have topped all of them (although Sheff Utd takes some beating), but cannot get the time off work to travel up there, without a day off to come back. I would love to see Palace take huge numbers but i dont think its going to happen on a Monday. Instead of bemoaning people who cant go, just enjoy the fact that you can, and sing a song for me.

I got my home tickets on Wednesday but I'm not surprised that we are struggling to sell away tickets. It would mean 2 days off work and is a hell of a long way (I was working up there a couple of weeks ago so I know from recent experience). If we are level or ahead after tomorrow we will shift quite a few more. It will be interesting to see if Sunderland sell out as when I was up there the fans were full of gloom and thought they should get automatic promotion by right - I don't think so !

I'm not a student. So shove that up your arse Gladys.

My comments are aimed at people who can't be arsed or are possibly waiting for the outcome of the first leg before deciding. I understand there are people who can't make it due to work commitments etc. so I'm sorry and I should have phrased my comments in a slightly clearer and perhaps more polite way. :clown:

You have to look at how the tie feel. For the Sunderland supporters, one day off work, poss day out in London the next day easy. For us two days off work, and the option of taking an hour to look around Sunderland. Not much of a choice is it?

also sunderland have a lot of supporters in london and the south, my dads half of the family are from there, and he`s a sunderland fan, as quite a few people he knows, they will all be in the sunderland end, while i cant see we will have that many ex south londoners now living in sunderland supporting us on monday.

If our average gate is around 17,000 and we sell out tonight, then i would have thought picking up around 8,000 floating fans for a Friday night game is pretty impressive. We have never had a following like Man City or Sheff Wednesday who turn up whatever, so let's hope there is an electric atmosphere which may persuade some of them to come back again more often.
