The Badger is a nerd.

Come on Jimmy Quinn. How many other 52 year old players have scored in the Conference Playoff Final, Wychers ?

Whilst you've got to admire Jimmy Quinn still turning out as player/manager at the age of 73, the thought of a victory for the 'Shots kind of warms the heart of every fan of a club that's ever been in administration.

Kicked out of the league in the early 90s, the club is now going for its fifth promotion in around a dozen seasons, and shows that there IS life after death, at least as far as football clubs are concerned.

Riccardo - Jimmy Quinn is 44, but he's not named himself on the bench even. He's going to let the kids have their day.

The Badger is asking if you still have your bag of donuts and nightvision goggles in your jacket pocket?

It would be brilliant to see Aldershot do it. Their fans sounded so humbled at the fact they have the chance to go up.

Shrewsbury win on penalties a.e.t., their keeper saved all three Shots penalties.

Bad luck to Will and Roscoe, they both played well, Roscoe in partic. I'm sure we'll see him back in the league somewhere.

Our Office Manager is a die hard Shots fan - so he is going to be miserable tomorrow. It was a great effort, but well done Shrewsbury.

Great atmosphere, nervy football but superb effort from both teams. Bad luck to the Shots, tough way to end as there was not much to choose between the sides.

But....we're back in the league!!!!! Keeper Scott Howie was immense. We have something to celebrate at last. Showing the way for you eagles!
