......Because I am the wife of Bristol Eagle (and am not familiar with this sight and didnt know I was doing it incorrectly, sorry all) and I am trying my best to get two tickets for him for the final,as I know how much it means to him.
He is away at the mo, so isnt here to tell me how to do it correctly and he so desparately wants tickets, so instead of settling down for the night watching 'Hells Kitchen' on TV, I tried to do a link on this sight in hope I could surprise him on his return.
Can anyone help??

Just had email from Welsh FA telling me they do not have any tickets available & to try the English FA. As I live in Wales, work for a Welsh club & the millenium stadium is in Wales, I thought it was worth a try.

It's a bit late, I know, and no absolutely no consolation but for £25 you can get a membership online at the club website which gives you ticket privileges.
Think of it as a booking fee for any big games that come up.
Oh, and you can join any time you like all the way up to the last day of the regular season;)
Good luck in the quest for tickets. If I end up with access to extras, with no other way of telling, I'll probably be looking for regular posters.....and at face value only I should add!!!.

Just spoke to the box office 300 tickets left! Also spoke to a friend who is on his way to the box office and a car full of hammers in shirts went past waving their tickets at him:veryangry
The club phone message has been very misleading to as it did reitterate that 'no tickets would be on sale at selhurst park, yet they deny that the message said that.
If anyone has two spare tickets i will pay full face value plus a nice little thank you gesture. Have been to quite a few matches this season, was a golden eagle member for 7 years but didnt get to renew because i moved house and totally forgot about it.

I was there in '79 when we beat Burnley, and '89 when we beat Blackburn Rovers. Also went to Wembley when we beat Sheffield United in the last minute. My daughter has never seen Palace lose when she's been to Selhurst so any spare tickets should surely be sold to me as it would clearly be for the general good of Palace.

Seriously, nearly all of us haven't got our tickets yet. There will not be any offers until tomorrow, perhaps Wednesday. Patience.
BTW. To all don't view this thread as a queue. That is not how it works, long standing BBSers should get first priority. First time posters just appear too dodgy to get first dibs at spares. Ultimately its up to the sellers who they chose to help out.
As a second point, anyone inflating the price should be banned from the BBS. Agreed or not.

Hi there, i'm just after a solitary ticket. I'm in the middle of my finals and have been unable to get down to selhurst for the general sale. I'm a three times season ticket holder and have been to a large number of away fixtures this year. Obviously theres going to be a huge number of fans left disappointed but i thought it was worth a go - i'm absolutely desperate to see the mighty eagles at cardiff!!! I'm willing to pay more than face value but i totally understand that nearly all on here won't be prepared to sell for anything more than the original price. Please please make sure these get to Palace fans. Why not go back through the thread and contact those who have already asked for tickets.
Lots of people seem to have just registered. Fine, I am sure lots of genuine Palace have been ignited to join because of the final. I only joined recently despite been a viewer for years! So from that stance I say give it those registered for some time so you can be sure they are Palace
This will happen a lot this week as duplicates are thrown up. Make sure they go to Palace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be interested on going on the day and trying to find tickets. I've already got my travel and accommodation booked from the north-east so it's the least I can do. Of course, hopefully I'll have tickets by then as well :)

On another point, I haven't posted on here for a while because I can no longer access the BBS from work :grrr: and my computer at home has decided to pack up at the most inopportune time. So, I've tracked down an internet cafe...

Hi all,
Need a lift to cardiff and back from sunny Bromley for 3 people.
Have 3 adult spare tickets with a great view, L7, Row 3 (centre of the pitch) and within earshot of 'King' Dowie.
We are all students, well I go to KCL and the other 2 go to college. Would prefer to go with students but not a necessity. PM ASAP if you're interested in the tickets and/or can help with travel.

Well just booked the tickets on the internet and I guess i got lucky (well just tried several times till it gave the seats i wanted). Just realise we are the away end so CPFC's dugout will be very near L7. Can't wait to see Dowie in full flow....

In 97 i had four tickets which i bought as i was a g.e member, only three of us went but i took the ticket and gave it to a palace fan who was following the yellow tank who was asking for a spare (if you are on here do you remember, you bought me a programme in exchange?) if that fan is reading this and has a spare, remember i gave you that ticket for nothing!!
Seriously, on that day i took the ticket and was willing to let it go to someone who wanted it. As they say what goes around comes around.

I've just been able to get two tickets for someone in our end from a West Ham fan! Luckily, he's a mate so it's face value. What a balls up! He reckons they have been given an extra 11,000 tickets, 8,000 returned by Palace!!! Could be wrong, why would we do that when there are hundreds if not thousands of Palace fans still looking for tickets?

Im a Palace fan who lives in Cardiff. If anyones got any spares Im prepeared to pay full value and a bit more if you want. In return, if you need a place to stay for the night then you can kip round mine. I make a good cup of tea.

This is definately true, i spoke to the guy on 02087686081, he said around 100 left - personal callers only at the box office. This was at 8pm, they were counting them up.

They are saying at the ground that you will need to bring proof of address and photo ID to the ground in order to enter. How does this affect people that have bought tickets from other BBS members?

If he offers you four and not six, take the four. Then come back here and see if there are two together spare. If two of you are to be disappointed then I am sure they will be happy that at least some of you can make it.

Thanks to the chaos on the website last week my order has been duplicated. I've waited until the tickets arrived in case there were any post problems but both lots have arrived so I have three spare tickets.
They are in block M2, one full price and two concessions, there doesn't seem to be any difference on the tickets between the full price and the concessions, all say £52 so I suppose an adult could use them but it's your risk if you buy them. All three are together.
The tickets cost £113, one at £52, and two at £26 plus £2.50 each booking fee and £1.50 postage.
I will only sell these tickets to someone I am satisfied is a long term Palace supporter, I would rather take a loss than sell them to a West Ham fan. If anyone buys them they will have to take all three.
I work in the Waterloo area and live in Sutton, buyer will have to collect from me before Saturday.

owing to ticket booking cock-up I have 9 tickets (booked on my 3 season tickets) all in U34 - 6 adults, 3 concessions (although one of the concessions isnt stamped - your risk for adult use).

For those still looking for tickets, why not get in touch with each other and bid for the box that is currently being auctioned through PIST http://www.cpstrust.org.uk/ The bidding closes at 12 today and the best bid is still only £800 which works out at £66 each! This includes lunch etc. With normal tickets costing nearly this much then surely this is a bargain :p
I know logistically it will be hard to orchestrate but it has to be worth a try.

Just received 3 £28 tickets on top of the 6 that we wanted.
Cost us £30.50 per ticket + the £1.50 P&P fee, so £93 for the set.

My credit card has been debited for 6 tickets, I have written confirmation for 6 tickets and the ticket tracker still says that they have been despatched. My wife has just rang me to say that the other tickets were not in today’s, (Wednesday), post!!!!
Hopefully they will arrive tomorrow, Thursday.
When they do eventually arrive I will have 3 spare as below.

Will accept exactly what I paid. £147.

Due to overactive family members I have an extra 4 tickets for sale for the final. They are all in the Palace end and come in two pairs of 2.
Please note these tickets are only for sale to fellow Palace fans, so no offence West Ham fans but look elsewhere.
Will sell individually, in pairs or the complete set.
I am based just over the Severn bridge and due to the tight timescale would ask to meet you to hand over the tickets (COD) on the day of the match.

If we're down to fending off Hammers fans and there are still tickets out there, then I'd love to go!
I'd presumed that as a former ST holder who has moved to the West Country with no fellow Palace fans amongst my friends, acquaintances, work colleagues, I would stand no chance of getting a ticket and had resigned myself to missing out. It would be the first time I had missed out on a play-off final/cup final since Palace - Swindon in '89 and had resigned myself to not going as the regulars ought to get first call. I've seen two games this season and we lost them both: maybe I'd better stay away. ;)

Right, more in hope than expectation, but here goes...
I've lived in Cambridge all my life but am an Eagles fan as I was born in Mayday. I am desperate to go to the final, but living out here in the sticks and not being a ST holder I thought the chances would be slim, and following the ticketing nightmares on these boards the past few days I have pretty much given up hope. :sob:
However, nothing ventured and all that, if anyone has two tickets (North end obviously!) I'll take them. As time is running out I guess a meet on the day and COD would be the best bet.
Don't know how I can prove I'm Palace though. I could bring along my Junior Eagles autograph book!. I've got Bruce Dyer, Herman Hrrrreidarrsson, Jolly and some others :p

I have a spare ticket and "possibly" a train ticket leaving from Norwood Junction. The match ticket is £40.75 (inc booking fee) and the Train ticket is £39.00.
The train is the PIST train leaving at 8:00am.
I would like to sell these together if possible but understand that this may now be difficult.

I am this on behalf of a friend who doesn't have a pc (his brother and g/f too).
They desperately need 3 or 4 tickets.Thanks and fingers crossed.
They are all mad Palace fans, but because we live on Norfolk/Cambs border, they are not season ticket holders, and have not been able to get to S.P. to get tickets.
He will willingly prove that they are Palace fans by answering questions or bringing previous tickets etc. or whatever you require, so you can be sure before agreeing to sell to him.
