Got a millwall friend & he reckons the weatherspoons, 2 minutes from ground & has 3 floors is the best bet.

Surprised there aren't more posts on this thread. Would really like to meet a few other BBSers before/during/after the game this time round. That Irish pub sounds good to me WFOW.

Near the ground, the pubs were designated to different fans, I.E. On Saturday, only Manchester United fans were allowed into the Prince of Wales, and that area was United only, further towards the castle was Millwall all the way! I felt sorry for a Millwall fan walking throught he army of United, he got booed the whole way through, but carried on waving his flag!

The Gatekeeper, which is a Weatherspoons pub, is for fans in the North Stand. Therefore this should be all Palace.

My Arsenal supporting father recommends the Yates's Wine Lodge. But then that whole sentence shows my dad has no taste.

Prince of Wales in indeed South End, thus West Ham boozer.
However the North End has more choice, quite a few pubs near the Castle, I'll be heading for the Cayo Arms before the game, to start with, as I'm staying very near there.

Friend of mine from Cardiff said the Gatekeeper is the best (and biggest) of the lot. But then I don't always trust what she says. :)

On advise of some Cardiff friends I'm going to the Y Mochyn Du. It takes children inside and there is also a garden.
'Y Mochyn Du' is just down from the 'Lincoln House' just off Cathedral Road on the left. Apparently you turn left at the Cayo Arms Pub.
It's no more than 5 mins from the ground (I'm advised).

Cayo Arms sounds good - although the garden won't be much use to us if it's raining!

Cardiff living life-long palace fan. Town is split in two on Cup Final days, police seperate the two. If last weekend is anything to go by should be great atmosphere. Gatekeeper is where everyone seems to be going and rightly so!!!
