Now we are on the up lets offer premiership football to Millwall's best players, so they can stay in London join Palace and we get the chance to piss off Millwall at the same time.
I think Tony Warner and Tim Cahill would be great signings

Friend plays golf with Joe Dolan, one of the Milwall defenders, and said that Cahill wants to join Palace but all the others, ie ward and Warner will not Join us.

Just what they did to us when we were in administration :hmph:

I seem to remember they made some appalling offer for Mullins and Morrison hoping we wouldn't be able to turn it down.

Better still,3 games from the end of the season,we are mid table they are strugling to survive the drop and we loan our best players to their opposition and watch them get thrashed to sink their sorry arses to div 2.:D

I would take Cahill off them, but aside from him wouldn't give any Wall scum a place even in our reserves.

Didn't their keeper play a blinder against us at Selhurst?

Simon Jordan's dad once told me that Simon and Theo Pathetic have a gentleman's agreement not to enquire about any players from the other club.

Been wondering when Cahill's name would get mentioned on here. Not completely out of the question either (depending on price of course). Remember him saying that he would be off to the Prem towards the end of last season.

Apparently he's good mates with Poppa.

Tony Warner is brilliant, and now second choice behind Marshall, would be a great signing, if only reserve. And of course Cahill would be excellent.

Don't stop Dowie enquiring with the oompa lumpa tw@t in charge of the scum though ... or even Cahill's agent.
Besides money will talk and they wont last long in Europe.

Hes dodgy, only plays well about 3 games a season (and two of those are usually against us). Cahill yes, Warner / anyone else then no!

remember their fans getting right hump when we took armstrong off them and it would be funny to take cahill as well, but i fear the gentlemans agreemeant might put the deal out of bounds. sj and tp were meant to have fallen out but the fact that he was in cardiff suggests that that story is crap.wall fans must be gutted go to cup final lose 3-0 week later second arch rivals visit same stadium take more fans win ,go to prem and earn 25+million.

Umm, but if the chairman won't back such deals with money, there's not a lot of point in even enquiring, let alone bidding, is there?

As I see it, if SJ's Dad is right, the only way we'll pick up any Millwall players is when they become free agents.

Yep I see your point Neil. I am sure that Monsiers Dowie and Jordan's plans will come to light within the next few weeks.

Personally, I don't think Warner is up to Prem standard, Cahill is useful but would probably better suit a more established team.

He got sent off shortly after they made the Cup Final and thereafter was one of the chief players to go 'missing in action' as they slid down the table, according to a couple of their fans I know. Not the attitude we will need next year.

I started a post about a possible move for Tony Warner. My Millwall mate told me that We wouls sign him if we win promotion as he is out of contract. I can now reveal that this will not happen as Tony Warner is
carrying a long term injury and can't pass a medical. Millwall have offered him the chance to stay and get treated, and he will snape any deal up as he knows that he will get nothing else until fit.

Are you saying that Gray's joining the Clowns rather than Brum?
