Talking of real men, what is it about smashing your head, going off for 10 minutes, having stitches, silly bandages and playing a blinder.
Terry Butcher and Paul Ince have nothing on Dean Austin.

I thought Deano was outstanding tonight, and he was a real man amongst men, and I wish that fickle fans would stop slating him all the time - alright maybe his distribution of the ball leaves a little to be desired at times, but he places with his heart on his sleeve and showed no little skill with that cheeky little dribble in the first half.

I noticed he put his arm round Alex after Doug's first goal, as if to say "come on son head up forget about it" or the Lavitian equivalent!!!!

So lets raise the roof for our boys on sunday - "say we are staying up"!

Last night's performance must now make him a legend for all times.........

Notice that they did not do the huddle last night nor did they have a big screen to watch themselves on either. Could this have been coincedence???????
